I seriously feel like puking all over my keyboard.This is just beyond my threshold.
Richmond,Washington:17 year old James Allen Wamsley has been charged with first degree rape in the assault of a 9 month old baby he was babysitting for a neighbor while she went to a Memorial Day barbeque. Apparently she asked him to watch her two kids,age 3 and 9 months while she went to the party.Upon her return,she saw the baby has obviously been assaulted.She called 911 and due to the severity of the child's injuries,he had to be air lifted to a different hospital than the one the paramedics took him to. Wamsley was picked up by the police shortly after.
I don't even know what to say.What a sick freak. I hope he enjoys what awaits him in jail. Damn.

Working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims for over 20 years, I am sorry to say that this is not the first time I've heard of the sexual assault of a baby. Have you any idea what that kind of attack can do to the body of a nine month old? It is such a horrifying tragedy. I hope this guy gets what he deserves.

Stuckinahs thank God i don't have any idea what that kind of attack can do , only in my imagination and that is bad enough.... I do know that if it were my baby I would need someone to write me in prison from now on. Sweetie Pie
I did manage to sneak a peek at his myspace page before it was taken down. Mostly it was about smoking weed and he posted a short gif. of himself skateboarding but there were a disturbing number of pictures of him with a lot of firearms.
I'm glad the baby was not killed but I know that poor child will suffer.It's too bad the attacker won't suffer half as much as he should.
I will have to follow this case. I just don't understand the kind of human that would do this kind of thing to a baby. We had a baby at one of our shelters that needed reconstructive surgery after such an attack. And this tiny little girl baby will never have babies of her own. It is so disgusting...there isn't a punishment too cruel or too unusual for this kind of crime.

I'm responsible for the error in city name. My bad,I apologise. The gender of the victim was not reported by myself,and I am responsible for reporting this crime on this board. You can look and see I at no time reported the child's gender.
Well, thanks for the additional information, Wildchild. I just assumeed the baby was female. Although in a crime like this, gender doesn't really make much difference, when we consider the damage done to an infant's body from such an assault.
