MSN/Reuters: Drew Peterson, the former Bollingbrook IL police officer who is serving a 38 year sentence for the murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio, has been sentenced to 40 years for trying to hire someone to murder the prosecutor that convicted him.

Randolph County judge Richard Brown handed down the sentence Friday against Peterson who faced up to 70 years.

I can't help wondering if they'd offered him a deal, would he have told us where Stacy is or what happened to her? But that's one of those things we're never going to know, most likely.

I saw this on MSN today and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

The son of Drew Peterson, Stephen Peterson has given an interview to MSN/Chicago Tribune about his father and the whole "mess" he's had to clean up. If you need some backstory, Drew Peterson was sentenced in 2012 to 38 years for the 2004 murder of his 3rd wife, Kathleen Savio and his 4th wife, Stacy Cales Peterson went missing in 2007. Peterson was alson charged and convicted of putting a contract out to kill the prosecutor who put him away. So, read that he's never getting out, even though Peterson's lawyers told Stephen his dad had a good chance of having his conviction being overturned on appeal. Yeah. I want some of what they're smoking, cause that's not happening brah.

You guys have to read this piece. On the one hand I feel bad for this dude. He lost everything. Job,wife,home and he's now raising all the kids that sociopath murder freak Drew left behind. On the other hand, he admits he hid about $200K and a bunch of firearms for Drew when Stacy went missing. Why the holy would you be so stupid as to do that? This guy was a COP! Like you didn't for just a second think, hmmmm. Why does he need to hide this stuff? Give me a freaking break dude! You can not possibly be that ignorant!

All right I'm done. This guy [and now his son] seem to bring out the worst in me. I think my bottom line with these guys is that nobody has ever been held responsible for Stacy. I don't believe for one minute she just up and peaced out. This guy is a lying scum and his son may not know anything about that but....I don't know. Hard to believe someone could up and vanish from your home and you don't know jack Here's your link. I'm off to get my super bowl on. I hope the Pats get slaughtered bloody murder [screw you Aaron Hernandez even though you are long gone!]
