Former NFL Star Aaron Hernandez Charged with Another Two Murders Allegedly Committed in 2012

I guess the NFL isn't all it's cracked up to be.....if you're life's ambition is to be a thug and a criminal.

Ok, that was a little harsh. Sorry. I'm having an off day.

Former New England Patriot tight end Aaron Hernandez, awaiting trial in the murder of semi professional football player Odin Lloyd, has been charged in two new counts of first degree murder in the July 2012 deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtardo. In addition, Hernandez is being charged with three counts of assault with intent to intent to murder and one count of assault and battery by means of a  dangerous weapon. Those basically breakdown to mean he shot into the car with the victims inside, where 2 of the men were killed.

The article details the nature of the murders in which Hernandez and an associate met the victims in a club in 2012, the situation leading to the crime was captured on video survelliance inside and in the club parking lot.

This link has  great video and some of Hernandez's own words that he wrote to a fan from jail [this part is priceless, talk about making yourself look dumb! I can't believe his lawyer didn't advise him to keep his trap  shut!!!] It also includes a profile of Hernandez's fiancée, who is in it up to her eyeballs for lying to authorities and destroying evidence. Also picked up this article from my Rolling Stone obsession LMAO and it's one hell of a good piece. It really explains a lot about how this young man really led himself astray. Tremendously sad and although I can't view him with anything but a slightly jaundiced eye, it's not hard to see why he turned to drugs and violence in the wake of the storm his life he was virtually thrown into. Give it a gander.

Any given Sunday,y'all.......

Investigators are presenting the theory that the reasons for Aaron Hernandez's allegedly killing the two men [ Daniel De Abrew and Safiro Furtido ] was that one of the men spilled a drink on him in a nightclub. After Hernandez left the club, Hernandez and his associates followed the victims and that the murders happened after that.

Not sure what to think but if anyone wants to step up and discuss, feel free to get in the ring, yo.  evileye

Aaron Hernandez was hospitalized last night briefly for undisclosed reasons [HIPA privacy laws prevent disclosure of nature of condition]  He was there less than an hour and officials confirmed that it was not related to "a fight, security issue, or problem at the jail."

Have you guys had enough of this yet? We're just getting started with this so grab your popcorn and a comfy couch seat because this is gonna drag out like the dog days of summer.

On Friday, Judge E. Susan Garsh imposed a gag order that will apply to both the prosecution and the defense teams. According to The Associated Press, Hernandez' lawyers sought out the gag orders because they thought "prejudicial out of court statements" were being made that could have a negative effect on Hernandez' right to a fair trial. A fair trial? Really? REALLY? I don't know what the hell he's smirking about in that photo but I'd like to smack it right off him. Even if he's not guilty,Dude, show some respect for the situation you're in. idiot.

Hernandez has been in jail since June 26.

I love Fox Sports. They do such a good job breaking it down for those of us who need to have it.....broken down LMAO!

Looks like Mr. Hernandez has caught himself a break in the matter of his upcoming trial for the murder of his former associate Odin Lloyd. The judge had ruled that certain evidence pulled from electronic devices found in the home of Hernandez after his arrest are inadmissible.

This might be a huge break for him. Not being reported are what those images or evidence is but if there's something on there that makes him look good for this, damn! That crazy might just get away with this after all. Here's your linky dink, yo. Show Fox Sports some love. It's almost the season! Are you ready for some football?!           evileye

The trial of Aaron Hernandez has started up in Boston and from what it looks like, he's in seriously deep   No joke, some of the evidence is bad, circumstantial though it is. Her had a couple of dudes with him at the time and that's all bad, and a very nervous and involved somehow  fiancee, I'm sorry but this whole thing looks bad for him.

I know I gave him some pretty bad press and I'm still not doing him any favors. But this is a discussion board. I'm not reporting anything. As long as you follow our community guidelines, you can say what you want LOL And I think he did it. And he sounds crazy as hell, this link is from CNN and has lots of info on where this case is and the people. Good video links within.       evileye

This is a great piece from Bill Speros at Boston.com profiling Aaron and his behavior when he signed on with Bill Belicheck and  the Pats and got his $40 mill deal. He's what? 24? 25? That's an insane amount of money for a 25 year old kid and what he did with some of it was to give back to the community, telling ESPN:

"He changed my life. Now I'm able to basically have a good chance to be set for life, and have a good life. I have a daughter on the way, I have a family that I love ... I was happy playing for my [$250,000-$400,000 salary]. Knowing that my kids and my family will be able to have a good life, go to college, it's just an honor that he did that for me. He gave me this opportunity. The $50,000 to help his foundation, obviously, is basically like saying 'thank you' and it means a lot to me ... He trusts me to make the right decisions, it means a lot. It means he trusts my character ... They have to trust you to give you that money. I just feel a lot of respect and I owe it back to him ... I have a lot more to give back, and all I can do is play my heart out for them, make the right decisions, and live life as a Patriot."

I was running off with my homegirl last night right before I posted that link about Aaron Hernandez and his $40 million deal with the Pats that he got well before any of these murder charges. It sounds so.....inconsequential. Like, oh, oops. I forgot those pesky murder charges that got I brought up on while I was on my first season.

But I wanted to make some remarks about it: [big suprise LOL]

Speros digs deep at Hernandez and profiles him as a psychopath: agreed. The Rolling Stone profile paints him as him as remoresless and without much of a concience and I'm with them on that one. When Hernandez and his brother lost their father while still in high school they were still very young men with years of formative behavior ahead of them. Also, Terri, Hernandez's mother, engaged in behavior that knocked both brothers down and kept them there while she supposedly  became involved with a cousin of her late husband [not sure if this is true.....been widely reported on several  large media outlets] How horrifying that had to have been!! There was supposedly hard drug use [cocaine] and the boyfriend beat Terri [police were summoned to Hernandez home on more than one occasion]

The remarks Hernandez made to ESPN are really interesting. Tax write off, anyone? Of course it is possible all these remarks came from a very sincere place, the bottom of his heart. I've participated in charity events while I had money that I felt the same way about.             evileye

Court resumes today in the trial of Aaron Hernandez [2-12-15] after a break because of the snow storms that have dumped about 5 feet of snow on the greater NW area of Boston.

And in an interesting development, Hernandez's fiancee Shayanna Jenkins has been granted immunity from prosecution for her testimony in the trial against him.

Basically this allows the prosecutor to force her to testify in front of the jury without taking the fifth [self-incrimination]. It is believed by the prosecution that Jenkins disposed of the murder weapon for Hernandez. It has never been found. She is also being accused of perjury before the grand jury in a seperate case involving the Odin Lloyd murder in which she has pled not guilty.

CNN's Susan Candiotti reports that the jury in the Aaron Hernandez trial was shown video footage from his home the night of the murder that showed police around his home, knocking and looking into the windows looking for him and the rental car he was allegedly driving the night of the murders.

Hernandez says he watched them from his home security system cameras before going outside to talk to them, and finally going to the station willingly.

Link with video, including some crime scene footage [showing the body of Odin Lloyd, a weapon found at the scene that was not the murder weapon and some trace evidence found in the gravel pit where the crime took place.]

This piece comes from The Huffington Post's Amy Dardashtian and it explains a legal thing for us common folk called joint venture liability.

Joint venture liability is super crazy confusing [unless you are Clarence Darrow] and not applicable in all 50 states. But Ms. Dardashtian explains what the prosecution needs to do to get a conviction against Hernandez.....and she thinks he might just get away with this.

I have to admit I'm on the fence yet again! This case has driven me crazy, yo. I can't decide if he may get out from under this mess or not. When they threw out all the evidence on his devices [including the texts between Hernandez and Lloyd on the night in question] I really thought for the first time, he's going to beat this! But even if he does, he's got two more charges waiting in the wings. Give this piece a read. It explains in great detail what the jury needs to nail him.

Watching that trial has been interesting as hell. I bet his legal team coached him like crazy. One thing I noticed that stood out for me was at one point, they were showing crime scene footage and pointing out shell casings on the ground. The body of Odin Lloyd [his face was blurred but his body was not] was lying there and Hernandez turned his face away from the monitor in front of him, when just before, he was watching carefully. He did not want to look at that man's dead body. He didn't look at the monitor again.

This link comes from CNN and it talks about the case being tried on circumstantial evidence. They have no murder weapon, no motive, and  the two dudes that were with him aren't rolling on him. It breaks down how a court can use evidence like shells and chewed bubble gum [and the end of a smoked blunt with your DNA on it if you're really stupid] and instruct a jury to use circumstantial evidence like home survelliance video and trash from the rental car Hernandez used the night of the murder to potentially convict him.

This just sounds like tabloid trash to me but I'm posting it because the comments made me think.First.....

Larry Brown Sports/YardBarker is reporting that the babysitter for Aaron Hernandez testified that she and a friend were out in Boston one night in 2013 when they ran into Hernandez, his Barber and Odin Lloyd. Hernandez convinced the two to get in his car and he drove them to an apartment he kept where he tried to put the moves on her, which she allegedly refused, saying, "I'm your nanny, I can't do this."

Right.

So, like I said, sounds pretty National Enquirer to me but I always read the comments at the bottom, that stuff is interesting. And that's where I realized, they probably hauled this chick in and read her the riot act while all manner of crap went on! Check out this link, read the comments and see what you think. There were comments saying the prosecution did it to sweat Hernandez's fiancee and make her turn on him [unlikely] and other's thinking she had something on her record the cops were willing to clear up if she spit out what they wanted to hear.

From The Boston Globe:A Hometown Link To Aaron Hernandez's Troubled Past

Basically what this link is.....it isn't anything you probably didn't already know. But it did clear a couple of things up for me so I thought I'd post it.

*On Terri Hernandez's alleged relationship after his father died: it was not with a cousin of her husband. The man, Thaddeus L. Singleton was previously married to Aaron's cousin Tanya and had fathered a son with her. After they divorced, Terri married him in 2009.

*The abuse was reported to the police in 2010 when Singleton knifed Terri and she received injuries to the face, shoulder and torso. They were divorced while he was incarcerated in connection with those charges. Hernandez was not living there at the time, he was one month away from attending his first training camp as a New England Patriot.

Still.......it paints a good picture of what it was like for him growing up, sadly it runs Terri Hernandez into the ground. No matter what she did/did not do in life, the woman didn't kill anyone and running her down isn't exactly good sportsmanship.

From CNN: The video doesn't match up with the article but it's an interesting piece about Aaron Hernandez's jailhouse conversations. I'm sure he knew he was being recorded, he can't possibly be that dumb, and his defense team had to have informed him of such.

Defense and prosecution are going back and forth about those conversations and what can be admitted in court. Most notably, between his fiancee Shayanna Jenkins about a bank account she set up and money he wanted put in a jail account for his cousin Tanya Singleton.

A cousin of Aaron Hernandez testified that she could not remember details of conversations she had with him in the days surrounding the murder. She has been granted immunity by the state.

I've no idea what she's smiling about......why do people smile like that in court? I seriously do not get it. The times I've been in a court of law [admittedly nothing like being tried for murder, actually never been tried for anything!] I was not smiling about anything! It's a serious situation! I don't know. I don't get it.

From MSN/AP:  New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft testified Tuesday that on June 19, two days after the murder, former tight end Aaron Hernandez and he had a serious conversation in which he asked  Hernandez about the murder of Odin Lloyd, referring to it as, "an incident that had transpired", and wanted to understand Hernandez's level of "involvement".

Hernandez denied any involvement and said he had been at a nightclub that evening with Lloyd, but they had gone their own ways earlier in the night and had not been involved in anything else.

On that same day, June 19th, Mark Briggs, the Patriots chief of security had a conversation with Hernandez about the situation in which he again said he had nothing to do with Lloyd's death. The next day, when he went to the stadium, he was asked to leave. On June 26th, Hernandez was arrested and two hours later was cut from the team.

Then I read this.... and I thought it was really interesting. This witness, Alexander Bradley, testified that he had hung out with Hernandez, he's seen Hernandez wire money to someone who possibly was a gun dealer and that he'd seen Hernandez with a Glock semi-automatic pistol like the one used to kill Odin Lloyd months later. What he didn't get to testify about and what would've been really interesting to this jury is about how Aaron Hernandez once shot HIM in the face. It was prohibited by Judge E. Susan Garsh as "information over prior bad acts" that would be too prejudicial to a jury. And correctly so.....if that jury heard that Hernandez shot that guy in the face in THAT incident, it would be the tipping point.

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) Lawyers in the murder trial of former New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez are set to deliver closing arguments to the jury, after a trial that has lasted more than two months and featured testimony from 135 witnesses and hundreds of pieces of evidence.

Hernandez is accused in the June 17, 2013, killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. Lloyd was shot six times and died in an industrial park less than a mile from Hernandez's home. At the time, Hernandez had a $40 million contract with the Patriots.

Both sides have 90 minutes on Tuesday to make their case to the jury. Hernandez's lawyer will go first, followed by the prosecution.

Aaron Hernandez, a former tight end with theNew England Patriots, was convicted of first-degree murder and several weapons and ammunitions charges Wednesday, ending the stunning downfall of a player who was once one of the N.F.L.?s most promising young stars.

Mr. Hernandez, 25, will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Mr. Hernandez?s fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins. Mr. Lloyd, a 27-year-old semiprofessional football player, was found in June 2013 shot six times in a pit at an industrial park near Mr. Hernandez?s home in North Attleboro, Mass.

CNN: According to this report, prison won't be easy for Aaron Hernandez. Possibly people might assume that due to his high profile status as a former NFL player, he would be given preferential treatment. Not so, as this report indicates.

Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center, opened in 1998, is not far from where Hernandez once played for the New England Patriots and a maximum security facility that is described as a very violent prison with a reputation for having a problem with opiates being smuggled in.

After Hernandez is processed in, he will be placed in one of three sections: restricted block, general population or the kitchen block, called so because the inmates housed there work in the prison kitchen.

About 90% of the population is locked in their cells for 19 hours a day, said Leslie Walker, executive directer of prisoners services. "Prison officials may put him [Hernandez] in solitary for his own protection, but I hope not. It's very hard time."

CNN/MSN: Aaron Hernandez, former NFL tight end and now convicted murderer was involved in a fight in the correctional facility he now calls home. Law enforcement officials have reported Hernandez stood as a lookout for another inmate who went into another inmate's cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center. Those two inmates fought and are thought to be gang related.

All three men are being disciplined over the incident including Hernandez who has been put in a special management section. A spokesman for the department of corrections said that regulations forbid divulging information of that kind regarding inmates. IDK WTF that means since the media has all that information about Hernandez getting involved in this kind of fight. I really thought we wouldn't be hearing from this cat until he went on trial in the second case [I believe a tenative date has been set for July] but my bad, I didn't count on him acting a fool up in there.

What can I say? Players gonna play and this guy thinks he's a player. He's never going to see himself as a cold blooded killer even though a jury has convicted him as such.  Here's your linky dinks.

And while the rest of us were living our lives.....this.

AP/MSN: A lawyer for Aaron Hernandez says that he's concerned one of the jurors who found him guilty may have been "untruthful" during jury selection.

I don't know what in the hell he thinks he's going to be able to do about it now, like he's going to get that verdict thrown out over some nonsense? Not happening. And the mug on Hernandez in this piece is hilarious. I'm sorry y'all but it is.

From The CT Courant: A motion necessary to appeal an overturn of a verdict in the conviction of Aaron Hernandez has been rejected by Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh. Meaning.... his conviction has been upheld.

Yet to be addressed is the allegation Hernandez' lawyers have raised that one juror had been "untruthful" when being seated.

MSN/Sporting News: An anonymous tipster in the Hernandez case who claimed a juror was "untruthful" during the selection process was involved in a sexual relationship with Hernandez, prosecutors say. The woman, "Katy" informed defense attorney James Sultan one day after the conviction that one of the jurors had discussed a separate double murder case involving Hernandez and expressed a desire to be seated on that jury.

OKAY! IDK WTFF that means. You can read the rest of the link yourself and come back and explain it to me if you have some balls. I am dead serious! I read the whole thing and it goes into how Hernandez was putting it on her and some nonsense about her father [I think he was incarcerated] I honestly did not get it because the last time I checked, you don't just get to up and say yo, I wanna be on the jury.

For the most part the story calls her a crack pot. I'm sorry......her story is not credible.

MSN/Fox Sports: Aaron Hernandez is at it again.

Reports have surfaced that Hernandez has been involved in another altercation in prison, this time, he was actually involved and not just a lookout. He came to blows with another inmate at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Facility where he is incarcerated.

After his last incident, Hernandez was put in a special management section. no word on if he will be put in segregation again.

Is this guy ever going to knock it off? Probably not. Like I've said, he thinks he's the end all, be all and I'm pretty sure he craves attention and will get it in any way he can, including fighting. He's still got to go to trial for those other two murders and frankly, I bet he's looking forward to the attention he'll get for that. he's got nothing to lose at this point. He's going to keep acting like this.
