RE: Former NFL Star Aaron Hernandez Charged with Another Two Murders Allegedly Committed in 2012

Boston Globe: Prosecutors have granted immunity to a one time friend of Aaron Hernandez who they believe was with him the night he shot at and killed two men in 2012. The agreement for immunity was revealed in papers filed in Florida where the friend, Alexander Bradley is suing Hernandez. Bradley alleges in the lawsuit that Hernandez shot him in 2013.

Suffolk District County Daniel F. Conley's office has yet to confirm that immunity has been granted for Bradley in connection with the fatal shootings of Daniel de Abreau and Safiro Furtado.  Prosecutors have not said if Bradley, who is currently incarcerated in Florida on weapons charges, will testify against Hernandez. The reason for the shootings stem from an incident that allegedly took place when one of the men bumped into Hernandez in a club, causing Hernandez to spill his drink.

Alexander Bradley testified earlier this year at former Patriot Aaron Hernandezs murder trial.

Boston Globe: On December 29,2015, a judge denied a motion to dismiss a murder indictment against an associate of Aaron Hernandez in the slaying of Odin Lloyd.

In a 15 page ruling, the judge ruled that a grand jury heard sufficient evidence to establish probable cause that the associate, Carlos Ortiz, intentionally participated in some  meaningful way in Lloyd's murder.

Hernandez also faces a double murder in Suffolk County for allegedly gunning down two men in Boston's South end in 2012.

Now.....we've gone on and on here. They are really dragging this thing out. I don't think there's any doubt in anyone's mind: this dude's not gonna walk. Yeah, stranger things have happened and I've flip flopped myself. But the first trial is over and Hernandez is in prison. And anther double homicide on the way? The gangster in the huddle isn't going anywhere any time soon. I suspect his associate will be joining him in prison before too long.

So....this is good. from the Chron.com: Aaron Hernandez answers your mail. And in this charming missive he suggests to a fan [?] 3 ways to kill yourself. I'm not making this up! Go look at it! Man, people are crazy. I've never gotten the insane urge to write to some crazy inmate serial killer I don't know [just the ones I DO know LMAO biggrin ] but for some reason people do it all the time. Like that cat Jason Moss who wrote that amazing and horrifying book, "The Last Victim" [ISBN:0446608270] He wrote to Manson, Dahmer, Gacy....and it didn't end well. Y'all should read it.

Anyway, this chick wrote to Hernandez and he actually wrote back and talked a ton of smack to her. It never fails to amaze me what inmates say, you'd think I'd be used to it since I've seen so much of that crap, but no. The reality is they are in there for life and have nothing to lose so WTF, right?

I have to admit, it sounds like something I'd say when I get super irate when he gets wound up at the end of it, "the case, the DA, the media, YOU!" evileye

That's what I'm talking about. I feel your pain, gangsta. the media indeed.

MSN:A Suffolk Superior County Court Judge said he expects to rule next week whether prosecutors in the double murder trial of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez can examine a cell phone he gave to defense lawyers that represented him in his previous murder trial.

Hernandez is serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd and now faces charges of murder in the July 2012 double slaying of Daniel de Abreu  and Safiro Furtado in the South End.

Hernandez has pled not guilty.

Nice crib, yo.

From CNN: The 1.5 million dollar home of former NFL player Aaron Hernandez is on the market. I don't think this needs a lot of illeration so I'll just say that the mother of Odin Lloyd is engaged in a civil lawsuit with Hernandez and the court has put the house on the market with any proceeds going to the court.

CBS News/Crimesider: Aaron Hernandez has retained new council in the double murder trial he is awaiting in Boston.

It's Jose Baez, the lawyer who famously won Casey Anthony an aquittal in the death of her daughter Caylee. Also included are Harvard law professor Ronald Sullivan and New York City lawyer Alex Spiro.

Maybe he's thinking if Baez can get Casey off....I don't know. That's a pretty big if there! But none of us thought Casey was going to get away with any of that and look how THAT turned out.

From CNN.com: The last co-defendant in the 2013 murder case of Odin Lloyd, Carlos Ortiz changed his plea from not guilty to guilty bringing a close to the case. Ortiz was sentenced to 4.6-7 years in prison for being an accessory after the fact.

In pleading guilty, the state dropped the murder charge against Ortiz.

AP/MSN: Former NFL player Aaron Hernandez is expected this week in court to appear in court with new lawyers to defend him in the shooting deaths of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado after one of the men allegedly spilled a drink on him at a nightclub. One of the new lawyers is Jose Baez, best known for successfully defending Casey Anthony in the murder case of her toddler daughter, Caylee.

Hernandez is already incarcerated for the 2012 murder of Odin Lloyd who was at the time dating his fiancee's sister.

This whole thing perplexes me, to be honest. Yes, the law states he must be held accountable for the crimes and if he did it, by all means, hold the man accountable. But what really seems odd is that it has taken the system so long to to bring charges and try him on them. They certainly didn't take so long to hit him up on the other murder. Riddle me that, Batman.

Aaron Hernandez is back. His Feburary trial for double homicide is having pre-trial hearings. The presiding judge has ruled that the trial date will not be pushed back [per lawyers request]

So, he's already in prison for killing someone, and this trial will probably give him another guilty verdict so....what kind of sentance is that going to give him? I think it is called "you are never getting out of there bro." Here's your link. I'm a little short on words today.

Oh come on now. Jesus.

From WAFF.com: A judge ruled this week that jurors can consider tattoos on Aaron Hernandez as evidence in his trial for the double murder of Safire Furtado and Daniel de Abreu.

I'm going to let you read this link yourself without describing the ink, and I think he's guilty as hell but using his tattoos as evidance that he murdered someone, unless it says in bold type "I KILLED THOSE TWO" is probably the most idiotic thing I ever heard. You guys are just being jerks about it now. The state has him for killing Odin Lloyd. Don't y'all think you are taking this too far? I hate to drag her into this but remember when Casey Anthony got a tattoo when Caylee was missing and everyone got all bat crazy about it, saying OMFG look what she did! She's guilty! Wait, don't they have the same lawyer? That creep Jose Baez?!?!

Now I'm just being that way. I'm out for the weekend. Deuces people! Here's your linky dink.   evileye

This guy is too much. I swear he'd already be working on his own biography if he was smart enough [or dumb enough] to try it. This is a piece from that UK site. Daily Mail. It goes through kind of a walk through of his tattoos that the jury can use against him.

Still the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. It just doesn't seem relative, it's being taken out of context.

Ink: He was wearing a T-shirt that showed of his full 'Bloods' tattoo he received in May, which says 'LIFETIME LOYALTY' and has a skull and spider web at the bottom, previously obscured

MSN\AP: Jury selection is set to begin next week in the second trial against Aaron Hernandez, this one for the double homicide he allegedly committed  in 2012. This is a good piece that breaks down the trial in which he was convicted of the murder of Odin Lloyd and is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole and what is coming up in the next trial.

Another thing I noticed is that as you read this, if you are keeping score, you can see the progression of the ink he's recieved in prison, something that is done all too often in prison but generally regarded as foolhardy. I suppose if you aren't going anywhere, it matters little but he knew he was going to have to go through another high profile trial. Did he not consider that ink might be highly suggestive to a jury?

Here's your link. See for yourself.

So....it looks like Aaron Hernandez was acquitted today [Friday 4-14-17] of the double homicide of Daniel deAbreu and Safiro Furtado. I'm surprised in a way because I really thought they were gonna nail him. Wrong! Just cause people think you're the bad guy doesn't always equal a conviction!

Here's your link. Have a blessed Easter y'all.

From ESPN: One day after winning an acquittal for the double homicide of Daniel deAbreu and Safire Furtado, former New England Patriot and convicted felon Aaron Hernandez was found dead hanging in his cell with a bed sheet.

I'm shocked . I totally didn't see this one coming at all. I don't have a snotty come back for once. I feel bad for his infant daughter and rest assured, we haven't heard the last of this.

Here's your link. RIP Aaron

I thought about this all day yesterday...like I mean ALL DAY with this thing and it was a miserable day. My friends gave me hell because I never shut up about this. Obviously this was a huge shock but right after being acquitted of a double homicide?!? Who thinks that sounds right? Cause that don't sound right to me.

I'm not changing my opinion of Hernandez. I believe either he or one of his Douchbags murdered Odin Lloyd [Aaron's DNA was at the crime scene on the end of a blunt and a chewed up wad of blue bubblicious.]  This is a fact and not conjecture. A very sad fact if you ask me.

Obviously this is an ongoing investigation but reports [you can link it every damn where] say he was found hanging using bed sheets from a window and had a bible nurse written on his forehead [John 3:10 ] He also tried to block the door so corrections officers couldn't get in.

Joe's Baez [lawyer for Aaron Hernandez and the infamous Casey Anthouny] issued a statement saying how "shocked" he was and I can't lie, I just thought, I bet you creep!  I know, that's messed up. I will say this thought the family is working it hand over fist: while they are donating Aaron's brain to science to test for chronic traumatic encephalopathy [IDFK]  it nvolves a high rate of suicide in NFL players: 27 since 2010. But the family  are also in a whole multimillionaire thing with the Pats. It just seems like if you do one good thing it's ok do do one bad thing.

Sadly this is not over and sadly he will not rest in peace.

The press on this thing, I swear this is insane. I think the last time anything was this whacked out it had to be the Casey Anthony business. And they have Jose Baez in common! What exactly does that say? How does that guy sleep at night? His doctor must give him serious goof balls to knock him out. I can hardly get 5 hours a night and I'm not the morally bankrupt....

But I digress.

There have been a bunch of reports and chatter about Hernandez being gay, and one entertaining young lady wondering why didn't I discuss THAT! First, I had no proof or credible source he was gay. Second, who cares if he was gay? I was more concerned with the fact that he might of murdered somebody!! There are also reports that his legal/financial status changes now that he's dead and I'm going to give you an awesome link that has all the stories about this whole sad and depressing tale put together.

It really makes for Shakespearean drama when you think about it. Y'all don't believe me but it's true. It's tragic. Think about it: The king, raising his sons, dies and the Queen mother throws herself into dissipation and the young Princes split in their grief. One grows to escape the dark kingdom, the other dies.

Here's your link.

Rest easy Aaron

So, this is sadly still a major topic of news for more than one reason. Lots of reports and you can see it everywhere. The most of it suggests Hernandez knew that if he died before his case was heard, his family would reap a financial windfall. That's why he killed himself. Supposedly. Who the hell knows, not like we can ask his ass.

Also, and I don't know how I feel about this, the prison released the suicide note Hernandez wrote to his fiancee Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez. I don't know about the other notes but making it public was just the match on a puddle of gas. What was the point of that?

From everywhere [I believe this link is from ABC News] The fiancee of Aaron Hernandez, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez said that she thought someone "cruel" was trying to tease her in an upcoming interview with Dr. Phil to air next week Monday May 15th and Tuesday May 16th.

As much as this show gets on my last nerve Dr. Hillbilly gets the good crime interviews. Remember he got JonBenet's brother to spill it? Although I doubt there's money in it [ I think it's called an honorarium when you get paid for that kind of thing] I very highly doubt she's concerned about chump change.

I honestly don't see this as necessary. I'm surprised she hasn't announced a book deal but that's always the first thing on my mind.

I almost don't want to say anything because no matter what it is, somebody's going to get prissy mad and such. Obviously it's no secret if you read this thread, you'll see me going back and forth on this guy. In the end, he's not here to speak for himself and instead we have Shyanna Jenkins Hernandez.

Monday and today [Tuesday] she was interviewed by Dr. Phil. She really didn't look the way I expected and admitted she was estranged from some family since the murder of Odin Lloyd, who was in a relationship with her sister at the time of his death. A lot of talk about those suicide notes; supposedly he wrote one to her, to his kid and to his lawyer. The note to his supposed gay lover? Never existed. Did she ever wonder? No. But she asked him anyway.

Now here's where we split hairs: if you never wondered why the hell did you ask him? And if he was gay WHO CARES! If he killed himself, I think it's a tragic end to a messed up story.

I don't feel sorry for him....he had choices in life and this is what he did with it? Man. But I can't help feeling bad for his child. She didn't have a choice. She is truly an innocent party to this all. I don't know why this interview was even necessary. So we can ask her questions that she claimed she had no answer to? Seriously?!? You really think the American public is that stupid? [hint:they aren't]

In the end it was just sad. I hope that baby grows up all right. They ended with some upbeat words about her but...she's going to grow up with all this. All the best, young lady.

RIP Aaron

Let me try and link up this trailer for tonight's 48 Hours.

Looks like the novelist James Patterson has written a book about this that he's promoting on tonight's show. This has a little trailer for ya.

I don't know if anyone watched this in the same frame of mind as me but I bet nobody would have said if they had.

The popular opinion always seems to elude me. But I digress.

The whole show was one big long commercial for James Patterson's new book. He's put together a non fiction title about what happened and he narrated the show [horribly I might add]

The book looks interesting and I'm sure I'll have a copy but it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. And it was sad. I don't care! It was! Y'all don't believe me but whatever. I'll be back when we read the book, available January 22.

So as you can see, justify and put this whole thing kind of in order and see what the sexual assault is that we've been talking about. Both the coach and the kid blocked me from their social media so Nobody can see the posts if you are on his friends list.

That got serious real damn fast, didn't it?

So, I'm reading the Patterson book. Reading it slowly because this is probably the most nuanced true crime book I've seen in a while. I'm totally into it and you guys should check it out and read along cause I'll be ranting and raving for a while.

From Sports Illustrated: Before Aaron Hernandez died, his brother DJ gave an extensive interview to SI and talked at length about his brother, his family and what their lives had become since Aaron was charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd.

This was written before the second trial's outcome so take that into consideration. I know I'm in the minority but this is the saddest thing ever. It really is. I'm never going to be able to decide if he did any of this. Some of this crap is so circumstancial like who the hell knows what really happened?

I finally finished that book. And honestly, I can't give it massive props. It's a bit long winded, it tells the story of what happened with the Hernandez family, because this would never would have turned out this way had the father not passed away.

It's a well researched book and tells the story well. But I knew most of this already. And it was tremendously sad. I know that's not the popular opinion. But I don't care. It's tragic as hell and leaves me with questions.

James Patterson's All American Murder is available everywhere.
