Maybe some of you are surprised by this. I'm not. This town is insane as hell.
Emily Pitha, 34 and Chris Hustrulid, 36, were arrested yesterday [4-28-2016] in a quiet Phoenix neighborhood on suspicion of recieving 253 grams of ecstasy. When the home was raided by the MCSO [Maricopa County Sheriff's Office] the home had the makings of a working meth lab, a potential grow room for weed, and evidence included 3 grams of heroin, 3 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of weed, 10 hits of acid, shatter, hash oil and $700K in cash.
Quite the buzz y'all got going on in there.
Sadly, these two have two kids, aged 10 and 4 that luckily are with family while these two are now being charged not only with all that dope, but child endangerment, drug manufacturing and possession of manufacturing equipment. Pitha has been bailed out. It is unclear if Hustrulid has been. His bail is set at $20K cash. Seems kinda on the low side if you ask me.
If I didn't know better I'd think this was another run of the mill dope house bust. But these two are not your usual brand of Arizona tweekers. At least SHE isn't. Turns out homegirl is a former employee of the fundraising firm The Lovas Company, who's roster has included such notables as Mitt Romney and currently, John McCain, who released a statement that they were severing ties with her ASAP. I just bet you are.
So there you go. I'm sure that she's got a hell of a defense in this, and the guy is going to get sandbagged and thrown under the bus like a mofo. Anybody want to take bets with me on this one? It's in my backyard, yo. Guess this will be my summer jam. How sad is that?

So, remember these two idiots? The woman was some kind of fundraiser that had John McCain as a client or whatever. The dude was just some buster as far as I could tell. The media made it sound like they had a serious Heisenburg type set up going down in their home-- working meth lab, major stash and cash for days. With two kids living there for sake!
Yesterday the chick [her name is Emily Pitha] was sentanced on the one guilty plea she entered, and she got 2 years probation. The buster she was with got 4 years in prison.
WHAT DID I SAY?? She's gonna throw homeboy under the bus. She got two years for all that dope and a meth lab??? You know if it was you or me our ass would be in jail and I seriously doubt probation would be anywhere in my near future. This pisses me the off. Seriously.
