This morning I was hunting around the internet for some decent crime to watch and this came through my news fed. I don't know if you guys remember this case. Luka Rocco Magnotta aka Eric Clinton Newman, 29, was a self styled model and gay poon actor who became notorious, first for his cat torture videos, then moving on to a human being he murdered, cutting up his victim's body and sending the parts to members of Canadian parliament and the sister of Karla Homolka.

By May of 2012, Magnotta had done nothing spectacular with his life, mostly a life of narcissistic pursuit and fame seeking behavior that found him lacking fulfillment. He had many dreams but the skills to make them come true were missing and being an addict to the internet he began to promote what can only be described as a precursor to serial killer status, videos he made, of suffocating kittens, feeding a kitten to a python all the while keeping his face obscured so as to hide himself from the viewer. A Canadian watch dog group, kind of a PETA vigilante thing was on him and working with the RCMP to catch him before his behavior escalated and he killed a human.

They did not succeed. Magnotta killed, sexually assaulted the corpse of victim Lin Jun and filmed the act before he cut up his victim's body and uploaded the video.

I'm not going to go any further, for those of you who are interested, you don't want me to plot spoil, do you? This dude is strait crazy! He started rumors about himself, most notably that he was dating Karla Homolka. Why in the hell... yeah. And he sent her sister a human foot. Yeah. He did.
