Anna, please read the following article and see if you can figure out the problem with the charges.....

I must have read it over 10 times and the charges never changed.

come on girl.....where the he!! do they get statutory rape?
has to be some kind of a misprint there was no way this was "statutory rape"

I saw that and thought it was odd but was looking for something else.

I'm going to ask my lawyer tomorrow and see what he says.  evileye

This is proving to cause many an argument.

It should probably be criminal sexual conduct with a minor instead of rape,but I don't know.And I'm going to poke the eyeball out of anyone who says she was old enough to consent,thereby making it "statutory rape".  evileye

Have you gotten any feedback from your attorney on the use of the term "statatory rape" in this case? I just hope it was a misprint in the article.

You have got to be ****ten me??? This is why I don't watch the news or read much of the papers...  I think we need to form a group of mother's that well.......... never mind.   They are guilty as sin as far as I can tell and should both be charged with rape, and murder, or would it be a capital charge?  Still like the mother idea ..... Poor poor child.... God rest her soul.
