Wow.This lawsuit is hardly without merit.Hulk Hogan's son,for any who don't know, was street racing his car on a busy intersection when he and his friend John Graziano[the passenger]lost control of the car and slammed into a palm tree allegedly at speeds of 100 miles or more.John was critically injured. The base of his skull was broken and at this time the most he can do is blink his eyes. I don't know if he can communicate that way. It's terribly sad. But the family of John has decided to sue the Hogan's so they will be finantially responsible for medical care for John for the rest of his life. I can't decide if this is right or not since he is a vet and VA benefits will pay for all that. Take a look.Tell me what you think.
This is just one of the links I've seen since I was made aware of this. Please be advised, while some the photos are not graphic, they are sad and I would advise everyone to take that into consideration.
It was posted on MSN today that Hulk's son Nick Bollea will be spending 8 months in jail for the charges brought against him in connection with the accident that left his friend brain damaged and partially paralyzed.
I feel a little torn on this one.He should be sentanced as anyone would be.This is terribly sad.But the other part of me asks what part of responsibility falls on,Hulk Hogan for buying them booze and for the guys themselves for street racing. At some point we all have to stand up for our own actions. In any case, there's the MSN link, with video:
Hulk Hogan's Son To Be Released From Jail 3 Months Early by Julie Kay courtesy People Magazine
Hulk Hogan's son Nick Bollea is getting out of jail nearly three months early with credits for good behavior and working, PEOPLE has learned.
Bollea, who has been serving an eight-month sentence at Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater, Fla., for reckless driving that led to an accident with injuries, is due to be released Oct. 21.
The early release follows standard procedures for all inmates.
"They automatically get credits towards early release, and if they don't do anything bad while they're here, they get to use the credits," says a jail official who did not want to be identified.
Bollea was sentenced for his role in a car accident last year in which his passenger, 22-year-old John Graziano, was seriously injured.
Bollea's sister, Brooke Hogan, tells PEOPLE that she is looking forward to her brother being released.
"I'm not sure where he'll live. I think he's going to do his own thing," said Hogan, who was attending the anniversary party for Strike Miami, a ritzy bowling alley in Miami.
Graziano's lawyer George Tragos of St. Petersburg, Fla., said he is not surprised to hear that Hogan is getting out early.
"It's standard procedure," he tells PEOPLE. "There is no way for us to impact his release date, that's not within our control. It's a formula worked out by the sheriff." ___________________________________________________
While it is a standard procedure for early release to be worked out with the office of the Sheriff,I can't help but feel that this is both sad and a miscarraige of justice. John Graziano fought for our country and had a bright future.
Nick was street racing,an extremely risky activity, and one he had engaged in several times before this accident.
Hulk Hogan [Terry Bollea] was seen purchasing alchol for Nick and his friends that day and contributed to the tragedy.
It is unfortunate all around that so many lives were irreperably broken by a few moments of carelessness. One can only hope that some understanding and education will come to Nick from all of this.
