Supposedly she killed her marine husband Todd by poisoning him with arsenic.Evidence showed up to over 1000 the normal amount in his liver. She also didn't do herself any favors by getting down and dirty, partying hard in Cabo, getting a boob job and sleeping around.Still,I wasn't convinced.
Fast forward to today.A second set of samples were tested for her second trial and what do ya know, they showed NO arsenic. AT ALL.She was released and charges were dropped.I'm not suprised she's innocent.I'm surprised the system figured it out and she was exonerated.Good luck Cynthia!
I am totally in support of this one....never thought Cynthia was guilty in the first place. Finally someone got it right. Too bad it took so long and she and her children had to be apart for so long.

I have always been torn on this case. Todd Sommer was in perfect health, and something caused his death. Whether Cynthia Sommer did or did not have anything to do with it, I don't know. There are still way too many unresolved questions about this case to be able to fully determine her innocence or guilt.
At the same time Anna, if you were in mourning over your husband's death, would you immediately go out partying, sleeping with his friends, and get a boob job, all in the first weeks after his death? I know we all mourn in different ways but that is more celebrating than mourning. I don't think we will ever know the real truth in this case.
I don't think anyone's ever asked me that. And honestly, the first thing I would do is get a big ass tattoo of something dear to him with his name because he literally makes me want to be a better person. He is that beautiful.
Everyone marks the passage of time, birth and death in their own way. Who are we to say how it should be done?
That's true. But I honestly can't see someone going out and partying and doing everything else she did as being in mourning. To me it looked like she was celebrating because she thought she got away with something. But that's just how it looked to me.
The real tragedy in all this is that his infant son will never know his father. It truly is sad when a child so incredibly young loses a parent forever.
