Bought a 2002 Navigator from local Saturn dealer. Came with new car warrenty (36000 mi) and I purchased an extended warrenty to 100000 mi. Had the vehicle checked by local Lincoln dealer and received a "good" Ford Passport inspection report shortly after purchase. Drove 4000 miles and the engine seized. Ford and the extended warrenty company said my warrenties were voided due to sludge in the engine. Dispite showing where the vehicle had been serviced by previous owner (albeit not always at 5000 mi) they said the vehicle had not been maintained as per their specifications. I didn't have the vehicle long enough to have a service due.
Now am having to buy a new motor ($6000). The dealer says there is nothing they can do!
