We have all seen this case go unsolved for years before our eyes. There have been the accusers of John and Patricia Ramsey,in the beginning myself strongly included. There have been many Ramsey supporters. So many years later and so much information and mistakes in the investigation I don't know what to believe anymore.
I want to believe Jon Benet is in heaven and that is the one comforting thought in this sad crime which I personally do not believe will ever be solved. This recent report on CNN's crime page reports that DNA technology has eliminated the Ramsey's,as well as their son Burke as suspects and has exonerated them from the offense of murdering their 6 year old daughter in their home on Christmas night,1996.
The authorities have no suspects and the crime is still unsolved today.
I feel very suspect about this new finger-touch DNA technology. We all know that the ransom note matched Patsy's handwriting and that the garote used around Jon Benet's throat came from her art supply jar. I don't recall any signs of a break-in from the outside though I could be wrong. That whole story is so sad and went on for so long there is too much to say right here. Whole books have been written about the case. Jon Benet is long gone and may she rest in peace. Only she knows what really happened. I know one thing for sure, those sick twisted llittle girl beauty pageants should be stopped once and for all. Sincerely, Heather Johnston
Ya know, those tiny tot beauty pagents creep me the heck out.I just can't get past it.
I honestly believe this crime will never be solved because Patsy knew something she took to her grave. I could be full of canine excrement but the closeset scenerio was [to me anyway] the one outline by Steve Thomas in his Book,"JonBenet" He was the lead detective on the case and at one point actually had to have a master affidavit with him at all times in the even the Ramseys were able to be arrested.
I also wondered about the younger brother....had he molested her? Possible but not probable. My CDUA [Criminal Defense Unit Adjucate] here where I work and I worked out a theory that stunned all our co-workers stupid. We should email,Heather.I'd love to talk to someone as sharp as you about this.
Tragic. As Steve Thomas said, after learning of the intense and forced tiny tot pagent traning for a future Miss America title [one her mother could never capture] "Miss America was the least of what she could have been."
