As horrible as her death was, I'm convinced Caylee is far better off where she is now. between her psycho mother, and then her obviously mentally ustable grandparents (that's putting it nicely), she'd have been screwed for life if they had wound up raising her.

I can't remember exactly, is it even known who her father is? I wonder if she'd have had a better shot at life with him....

Her grandparents need to be dragged in front of a grand jury. I totally don't trust the pair of them,I'm with you on that.

I don't know who the father is.At first she said he died in a car accident,then some other crazy ass story story came out so who the hell knows. There was even a rumor her brother was Caylee's father. Messed up. evileye

Here's some video for you peeps. Judge Strickland is no longer on the Anthony case and a new Judge has stepped in.Seems like he isn't in the mood to put up with Casey's bulls--------I mean,her crap.

So now in addition to the tax payers money paying for her defense,they are asking to have the trial moved.Poor Casey can't get a fair shake around those parts,apparently. So,Casey went to court last week.Some of the rulings:

*The jury will be picked from outside the county,but the trial will remain in Orlando.

*Gag order.Big suprise.

*Get this:Cindy Anthony actually made 3 911 calls and they are slugging it out to get the one where she says Casey's car smells like there'd been a dead body in it.

*Also slugging it out over the skank pics of Casey and if the DP is still on the table.

The part that got me was the defense saying that the only reason the prosecution wanted the DP was because she was female and if she were a male they would not have gone for the DP.....WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The trial has not started,they haven't even begun jury selection.They are really going slow because this is a potential death penalty case and what Casey is being accused of is a capital case [felony murder of a child under the age of 6].

This was on CNN this morning:
Florida prosecutors are listing 15 reasons why Casey Anthony should get the DP.Under Florida law,they only need to raise one of the aggravating factors to support their decision to seek the DP.

In DP cases,jurors are asked to weigh aggravating circumstances that make a crime especially heinous against mitigating factors that favor mercy,such as a lack of prior offenses.

Definately check it below.It will give you an idea of what Miss Casey is looking at with the DP right now.

Hard times for Miss Casey.

Judge Perry ruled that all 3 of Cindy Anthony's 911 calls can be used in court,including the one where she says it smells like there had been a dead body in the car.

Her rational? She said she acted that way and said those things so the police would hurry faster to her house and not think she was just some crazy Grandma.

Our friend Miss Casey's trial is at this time,is on the table to start in may. This thing is

ridiculous. But as we go,she has finally thrown down the gauntlet and her defense has shown some of the evidence they are having to fight to have excluded. Among these,her tattoo she got right before Caylee went missing,a movie she rented with her then BF Anthony Lazarro,and the shovel she supposedly borrowed [the inference there is that she wanted to bury Caylee's remains].

I keep following this case and will untill the end. I want to cry every time I think of Caylee and what happened to her. Will there ever be justice for this innocent taken so very cruelly before her time? evileye

I will start with a blanket apology to all because I am probably going to swear alot. My Aussie swearing may make it past the filter...so sorry.

I don't understand why people do this! There are many childless families who would jump at the chance of having a sweet little girl to raise. That foul girl could have given the child away, instead she chooses to kill her.

I am a grandmother, if I didn't hear from or see my 3yo grandson for a week I would be concerned. If my daughter then refused to tell me where was I would be on her doorstep demanding answers. If my daughter did this horrific crime I could not be held responsible for what I would do to her. I certainly would not assist in her defence.

It seems to me that once the novelty of having a child wore off (and the attention waned) this pathetic, murderous little slag threw that poor baby away like yesterdays
garbage.

No apologies necessary,my friend. I always have to use the censored icon in this thread because I get so irate about how it all has turned out. She's guilty,plain and simple.

I'm not a grandma yet but I have a 24 year old daughter that if I don't hear from,I freak. I can't imagine a grandbaby missing.

The Anthony's are covering up for her. I don't believe nor trust one word that comes out of their mouths. disbelief

From what i've read so far the grandparents seem as bizarre and dysfunctional as the daughter. I was reading that casey wrote letters to a prison friend that her father and brother abused her. This type of pathetic ploy for sympathy aggravates the hell out of me. Not only do I perceive this to be a lie, and a way for her lawyers to diminish her responsibility, but it is incredibly offensive to anyone who has been abused.

I can see this trial is going to wind me up.

I tend to get a real bug in my *** where children or animals are concerned. Neither understands what is happening or why. How can someone hurt something so trusting and innocent. My daughters response was "put me in a room with her".

I imagine my daughter would be in a very long queue of people who would like to 'visit' Casey Anthony.

That is true, her brother was one her supporters. In court he mouthed
"I love you" apparently.

I have no idea if they will let cameras in but I hope we can follow this case closely. From what i've read about the judge he seem to be keeping things on track with an iron fist so maybe no cameras will be allowed.

Lawyers are trying to have Casey's confession thrown out of court because she was not properly informed of her Miranda rights untill 3 months after her arrest.

Anthony is being charged with first degree murder,aggravated child abuse,aggraved manslaughter of a chhild and four count of lying to the police. Anthony's trial is slated to begin in May. evileye

Good Morning Anne and the rest of the folks I haven't met yet, Well this is an absolute tragedy, that poor little baby. It astounds me that in a world where some people are desparate for a child, this woman threw her away like yesterdays garbage. As I said once before, she got pregnant with the baby, lapped up the attention of having a newborn and as soon as the attention stopped and she realised 'this is it'. She just saw her as a burden that interfered with her social life.why noy give the child up for adoption. Probably because a simple adiption would not gain her the attention of a child that was allagedly kidnapped. Did I read that the death penalty is on the table? oh I sicerely hope so. This is so disgusting.

Please excuse my typing errors today as i have hurt my back and the pain woke me up (it's 2am here) and I took some painkillers.

A Florida judge ruled Wednsday that the jury in the case of Casey Anthony can consider both chloroform and the heart shaped stickers found on the remains of Caylee Anthony's body.

This looks really bad for Casey.If they can establish a proper foundation for either or both pieces of what could be potentially damning evidence against against her,I would be willing to bet it's all over but the media,my friends. evileye

MSNBC posted this video from Martin Bashir's reporting on Casey Anthony's trial.All I can say is watch it and try and figure out who is the biggest liar in this sick,sad and disgusting story. Casey's defense is that Caylee drowned and George [her father] tried to cover it up.Oh,and by the way,she was molested since age 8.

I could totally believe that Caylee accidentially drowned in the family swimming pool because her whackjob mother wasn't paying attn, and then the family decided to cover the whole thing up, except for one thing. Drowning in the pool doesn't explain, at all, the ducktape that was found on little Caylee's mouth and nose. As fr as Casey allegedly being sexually abused, to me, that has nothing at all to do with this case. But you're right Anna. We'll never know the truth. At least Caylee is in a better place, away from this psycho family.
