Carlie Brucia's killer asks for state to overturn verdict in case

The murderer of 11 year old Carlie Brucia is asking the state of Florida to overturn the decision that sent him to Florida's death row.
In 2004 the murder was highly publicized and I remember seeing poor Carlie being grabbed by the wrist by this scumbag.A nearby carwash,I believe it was,captured her abductuction but not the actual crime.

Joseph Smith has said he was on drugs the whole time and remembers nothing.To that I have to say,that is no excuse.You were on drugs is not a reason nor is it an excuse for your crime.If the inadequecy of the the legal team at the time failed to use that as a defense to free you,then the least we owe Carlie is to leave him where he is,on death row,where he belongs,for committing a crime both heinous and foul.    evileye
