Thousands Of Sex Offenders Recieve U.S. Passports

Cnn is reporting thousands of sex offenders  have reciecved U.S. passports including at least 30 government employees according to a Government Accountability Office.

The GAO said the Department of state cannot legally deny passports to registered sex offenders except those convicted to sex tourism.

All right people.You'll have to read the article because if I look at again I'm going to get really irritatated. It's just wrong on so many levels.

This is just (fill in the blank) up. If you're convicted of any type of sex crime, and especially if you have a history of sex crimes, there's no way in hell you should be allowed a passport. it may be lgal right now, but it sure shouldn't be.

Seriously!! When you are convicted of certain crimes,I think you should have certain freedoms taken away from you. And this would be one of them.     evileye
