I was glad to read of the release of CJ Stewart from a Nevada state prison. In case you've forgotten, he was OJ Simpson's co conspirator in the robbery case which sent OJ to prison possibly for life. I always believed that CJ was innocent of the robbery but guilty of stupidity for accompanying OJ to retrieve his family possessions.
Although my opinion is unpopular, I believe that the case was overcharged in the first place and that OJ Simpson was convicted based on past deeds (or perceived past deeds). Judge Jackie Glass had it in for both of them from the start of that trial, and it is my belief that when this case reaches the supreme court of the united states, it will be reversed.
CJ Stewart was convicted of the same crimes as OJ Simpson , his conviction was overturned based on the fact that his case was not separated from OJ's, and lets face it, he didn't stand a chance being co mingled with the most hated man on the planet. The Nevada Supreme court recognized this and ordered a new trial. The DA agreed to release CJ if he plead guilty in open court to committing felonies in the state of Nevada. What's a man gonna do, face retrial and continue severing a 7 year to 25 year sentence?
Everyone knows OJ was railroaded in Nevada, yet, turn a blind eye to an injustice for one fact, it was OJ Simpson. No one ever really cared about CJ in the first place. Holding a man accountable for crimes which he already ran the gauntlet of the legal system for is a shame. You know it, and I know it.

I don't think for one second OJ was railroaded, given his violent and volatile behavior over the years after Nicole was murdered. However, I do agree that anyone assosciated with OJ wouldn't stand a chance in a courtroom. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this release is a good thing or not.
Thanks for the reply Navy Wife. As you recall, I posted my comments on the OJ Simpson case about a year ago. I would just like to know one thing. If you were to find out tomorrow that OJ Simpson's eldest son Jason was the real murderer of Nicole and Ron, would your opinion change regarding the trial in Nevada? Your hate for OJ is based on your belief that he got away with murder. As I stated before, one day the truth of what happened on June 12th 1994 is gonna come out. There is too much evidence that points towards Jason Simpson, unfortunately; LAPD committed itself to go after OJ.
On a second note, when the EDTA was identified in the blood which was found on the socks and the gate, didn't that suggest to you that the blood was planted? EDTA is a blood preservative which is put in Viole's to keep the blood from spoiling or coagulating. Blood was missing from the vile the detective carried with him vs turning it into the evidence room as dictated by policy. (HE WENT TO THE CRIME SCENE WITH THE ACCUSED BLOOD AND TO HIS RESIDENCE).
I understand your hate for OJ and anyone associated with him, but I encourage you to look at the facts. There's only 2 possibilities here, LAPD attempted to frame a guilty man, or they attempted to frame an innocent man, I believe the latter. When an obvious framming occurs and is discovered, the case is over and Barry Sheck proved this in a court of law. The jury got it right. OJ Simpson is guilty of covering up for his son so he still has liablities in my non professional opinion. But he never killed those 2 beautiful soles, his son did it, I believed that then and I believe that now.

Well you're entitled to your opinion. But OJ's violent and volatile behavior that has occured over the years AFTER the murders is what continues my "hatred" of him, as you put it. He's a violent, mentally unstable man. If he is ever released there will be more victims of either domestic violence and/or murder, at his hands.

I don't know what your social life is like, but if I ever happened upon my ex wifes residence and saw her giving fellatio to a man in the living room while my minor children are within a distance to observe, I'd be pretty pissed too. Not that she was with another man, but that she didn't have the common sense to do her business outside of eye shot from my kids. Any man that calls himself a man and father would react the same way. To prove my point, OJ Simpson became aware that Nicole had been having sex with Marcus Allen, one of his good friends and former running back for the Oakland Raiders. Did he go crazy after learning this? No, he remained friends with Marcus cause he had moved on from Nicole, and in my opinion traded up with Paula Barbieri. There was no motive to kill her, Jason did have a motive in his sick head. And just because the police, especially LAPD paints a picture of what they want you to believe, never trust it. Have you ever noticed how many people have died at the hands of the LAPD while reaching for their waistbands? It's a standard rehearsed phrase they use when ones a$$ is grass and the truth will become the lawn mower. I respect your opinion Navy Wife, but I suggest, you try thinking for yourself and put the puzzle together without the help from the media or especially, LAPD. They made a jury believe that Rodney king deserved the beating he got on that lonely road in the San Fernando Valley. Then again, maybe you did to. The police are there to collect evidence, not plant it.

And yes,it was your OPINION.The fact is,OJ was NOT railroaded in either case.No matter how much we like it or not,he was found not guilty by a jury of his peers in the double homicide of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. He was found guilty in Nevada for trying to recover his property by running around,lynch mob style,with fire arms and proceeded to take down those who chose to associate themselves with him in what was illegal criminal activity.
