CALIFORNIA TEEN TO BE RETRIED IN GAY STUDENT MURDER

I gotta take a deep breath. This one's gonna bring on the hate.

Well you. This is the most disgusting case of injustice I've run across since that Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka crap and damned if I'm keeping my mouth shut. You can just forget it.

CNN is reporting that 17 year old Brandon MacInerey is to be retried in the murder of an openly gay 15 year old gay classmate named Lawrence King who had a crush on him. MacInerey is accused to have snuck a gun into school, and while he and the victim were typing papers in an open class of 15 students,He came from behind the victim and shot him in the head, when the victim fell to the ground, the shooter shot him in the back of the head again, commonly known as a coupe de grace shot.

The original trial was tried as as a hate crime. This one will not.The reason? The trial wanted to be streamlined in the hopes it would not be deadlocked as the first one was.It was deadlocked at 7 to 5 for second degree manslaughter. If this isn't a hate crime I'd like someone to come along and explain to me what it was.The defendant teased the victim and bullied him,it has been reported. But at least now he is being tried as an adult,a fact I find bitter consulation in.

He is pleading not guilty to first degree murder, special circumstances of lying in wait and using a hand gun.NOT GUILTY?

WHAT IN THE ? I can not believe this, this is wrong on every single level I can think of,and the death penalty would be too good for this little punk.Throw him in general population.Bring it. Here's your link.See if it makes you as mad as it makes me.

This is completely ridiculous. reminds me of the Jenny Jones Talk Show case, remember that one? She had a guest on the show 9the show was about surprising your secret crush.) Anyway, this man had a crush on another man (who was straight.) Everything seemed fine on the show, but after the show aired, a few days later, the straight man murdered the gay man. Neither had a history of violence, or a criminal record. But the straight man felt humiliated on national tv, and killed the gay man. I hope Brandon receives the punishment he deserves, and I can't believe he pleaded not guilty!

I remember that Jenny Jones business. That was just asking for trouble.Practically begging for it! I mean come on,how could her producers not know this kind of thing MIGHT happen? Stupid! And these were adults ffs.

Now we're talking about kids.No excuse but a kid's mind isn't the same as an adult's mind and from what I understand, the victim didn't even live at home with his parents because of the conflict over his sexual identity. That's why he was living in a group home.I think the thing that makes me the most angry is the kid that did this is pleading not guilty. Come the on! How are you going to justify your behavior with a not guilty plea when the facts are so glaringly obvious? Dude had a gun.Dude waited for the oppertunity.Dude shot him in front of a room full of kids and a teacher [let's ponder on what this did to THEM,shall we?] Guilty of first degree, special circumstances,go to to jail, directly to general population and and as Metallica says, luck runs out.

And last but not least, best email I have or will ever see in my life:

Dear Rocket,JESUS!

Take a xanax!

Your bud,Jules PS:Call me

Email of the week:

Dear Annarocket,

I read that they are sentencing the boy [she's referring to Brandon McIrney] who killed Larry king last year in his typing class over his sexual orentation. How does that make you feel? And do you think the punishment was correct?

Gretchen Destrenten,Canton,OH

Hi Gretchen thanks for writing. You know,it does and it doesn't.I believe strongly he should have been tried as an adult. That was premediteded. No question. On the other hand, dude was 14.Well old enough to know what he was doing was wrong in every way humanly possible. And he's going to spend the rest of his life behind bars. It's just a damn shame all around.[He recieved 10 years for the murder and 14 for using a firearm]

RIP Lawrence Leticia King           evileye
