Has anyone heard of an unsolved murder of a family after being helped by a stranger after their car broke down? I read it in the newspaper a few years back but i haven't been able to find any information on it. What i do remember is that a child survived but the rest of his family was murdered, he remembered a stranger offering to help them after their car broke down and when he woke up he was by a lake or river and everyone else was dead. i don't remember if he was attacked or exactly how old he was. i do remember that there was some female relatives who were also raped. i think it was in california but i don't know for sure.
Welcome Betty. I can't say I've ever heard of this case... but wow. How horrible for that family... especially that poor little boy. I hope this case is eventually solved and justice is brought to this family.
Well thanks for responding. I've tried searching for the story so many times and I can never find it! I don't even know how long it's been since I read the article, it was in the Las Vegas Review Journal but i don't think it happened in Nevada. I remember it being a 20-30 year old cold case. It's just one of those stories that you can't stop thinking about!
