Boxing Legend Hector "Macho" Camacho Shot,Condition Very Serious

I am a girl who loves her fights. My buddy calls me Tyler Durden, but seriously the sport is a contest of will and skill and I love it. Don't know where I got my love for the sport but this was sad news from Fox Sports:

Hector "Macho" Camacho, former world champion boxer was shot in the face as he waited in a car for a companion with a friend in San Juan,Puerto Rico. His friend was killed in the attack. There has been no arrest made and Camacho, whose injuries included a shot that passed through his jaw and two vertebre, has been listed in very critical condition. His Dr. issued the statement that his condition is "very delicate".

Pull through man! This girl's praying for you!

Doctors are reporting that Hector "Macho" Camacho has been declared brain dead and is not expected to recover from the attack he suffered while in Puerto Rico last week.

Family members have asked for two days to prepare for him to be taken off life support so they can privately say good bye. This is simply a formailty,Dr. Ernesto Torrez has said,"We have done everything we could and now it is time to tell the world that Hector is brain dead,he is gone."

Terribly sad.Godspeed,Hector. Prayers to his family, loved ones and fans. Being familliar with his career,I think I can speak for many when I say he had the heart of a champion and his death is a terrible loss to the boxing community and a devestating shock to his family.

Sad to report that Fox Sports released announced Hector went into cardiac arrest last night and efforts to revive him failed. He was declared dead after being taken off life support.
