Please bear with me. This is going to rant the out. I can't remember the last time something made me so unbelieveably angry. Like I wanna punch something,really really angry.
So apparently thsi woman,Lindsay Stone,was on a WORK SPONSERED TRIP to DC. She and her friend thought it would be funny to take a picture of her next to the sign at the Arlington cemetary of her screaming and flipping the bird. The sign clearly says,respect and asks for silence. And she posted this picture on her FaceBook [God I'm really starting to hate that place] And she's quote,"clowining around" yelling and flipping off the sign. When contacted for comment,she said they meant no disrespect [WTF???] and it was all in good fun.
You think that is funny? Are you serious? You are an AMERICAN! Those soldiers fought and died for your very life and right to act like a stupid ignorant loser with no respect for anything,lest of all yourself. I doubt you even have the most minute clue of how unbelievably offensive that is. And yeah,me,annarocket,the chick who doesn't get offended is beyond offended.
Then on top of that,when I looked at the video provided by The Huffington Post,she says it wouldn't pain her in the least if Obama was assasinated. Stunning in the ignorance of that statement I have just gone critical mass and can not believe how in the world could someone be so brain dead.She is now on unpaid leave from her job while they try to figure out what to do with her.
I have a suggestion as to what to do with her. Yank her American citizenship,throw her fat ass on a plane to Afganistan,let her live there and see how funny she thinks her little photo op is then. Just....Man. Unbelievable. I'm sure I'll get over myself here and stop ranting like a crazy person but this is just messed up in every way I can think of.

For those who simply can't understand how severe her actions are; what she did is actually against the law ~ 32 CFR 555.22 (f)(13)(iv), which states specifically, no person shall engage in any disorderly conduct within the Cemetery grounds, specifically "Utters to any person present abusive, insulting, profane, indecent or otherwise provocative language or gesture that by its very utterance tends to incite an immediate breach of the peace."
Word indeed. She's an idiotic capital B who obviously takes her freedom totally for granted. Let her go defend her own freedom... people like her make me sick.
Now that I've calmed down a little [Thanks Travis,I love you] I can see that she was just someone acting like an idiot. But to do so in a place where we honor our dead and rever their sacrifice their lives for our right to live free is beyond disgusting.

From what I've seen on the news (don't know if it's true or not), there's a petition to have her fired from her job, and she's begun receiving death threats. Hope the picture was worth all the crud you're in now you stooooooooooooooopid mofo!
Yeah,I did see that and while I didn't sign it,I really thought about it. I mean come on. I stopped doing crap like that when I was 18. I'm not saying I don't do stupid crap now,but this is beyond stupid crap. This is insulting,disrespectful and making a mockery of of something we as Americans should revere and respect. It's just not funny. And WTF was that about Obama being assinated?

Looks like Ms. Stone got canned after all for this "prank". I'm still on the fence as to her buddy who took the photo,she got the boot as well. Nevertheless,I think they made the right call. Like Kurt Cobain said,Censorship IS very American but when you are a place where there is an actual law prohibiting you from behavior such as this,well,you're either gonna man up and say yeah I did it so what and accept your fate,or backpedal and whine it was "all in good fun" and try and weasel out of your infantile behavior.
