This isn't going to be your typical child left in a hot car story.  We've all seen these news stories... a child is accidentially left in a hot car and dies.  The parents are distraught, shocked that they could have forgotten their child in the car, and then are left to be defended and crucified by the public and the media. 

But this case is totally different.  A little girl just shy of her first birthday was left in the hot car.. ON PURPOSE.. to die.  Because, according to proescutors, her father didn't want to pay child support.  So, after shooting the child's mother and killing her, he then left the child in a hot car with the windows rolled up, to die.  This story can't any worse right?  Wrong... the man who allegedly did all this is the kid's father... and he happens to also be a Washington D.C. police officer.
