Authorities had named her "Baby Hope." For 22 years they had no idea who she was, who her family was, why she died, and why her family never reported her missing or came looking for her. For 22 years, they sought to bring justice to the small child whose dead body was found in a cooler in the woods in upper Manhattan. Authorities even had a funeral for her, and a headstone made for her, that they took up a collection to pay for.
Finally, 22 years later, they know what her name is... and more importantly, an arrest has been made in her case.
