Navywife and I had a conversation about this over the weekend and agreed that it just keeps getting worse. The violence against children truly leaves me speechless  and I don't understand the mindset of this kind of crime.

Don Spirit, 51, killed his daughter Sarah, and her 6 children ages 3 months to 11 years [3 boys, 3 girls] before turning the gun on himself. Spirit was a convicted felon who should not have had access to a firearm.

Spirit had also been in prison for killing his son in a hunting accident in 2001.
