MSN News Los Angeles is reporting that the mayor of the small suburb of Bell Gardens, Daniel Crespo, age 45 was shot and killed during a domestic dispute in his home with his wife, Levette.
According to police reports, the couple was arguing when Daniel Crespo Jr. the couple's son intervened. The argument became physical and when the wife could not separate them, she took out a gun and fired on her husband. A daughter was also at home at the time of the incident. No charges have been filed and his friends, co-workers and neighbors has expressed surprise that the situation has been the result of domestic violence.
