CNN: Officials are speculating if a triple homicide in Florida this week could be related to witchcraft.
The way the victims were killed, the position of the bodies and the timing of the slayings have officials wondering if the killings have something to do with witchcraft. They have not given further details on what it is that makes them think that except the timing of last week's blue moon. The bodies were discovered on the same day as the lunar event.
The victims throats all had been slit, and all had been hit with a claw hammer. Richard Thomas Smith, who was an employee of the Homeland Security Department, was also shot in the head.
The police have a person of interest, who has not been identified, and have refused to elaborate on why the person's ties to witchcraft factor into the killings.

Honestly, I've no idea why or how they are getting this witchcraft stuff. I'm surprised they even released that to the media because that is a detail I would think they would want to hide from the public. I mean, are they trying to freak people out? Remember all that satanic crap with the Night Stalker? That freaked people out big time. I'm no expert here but it seems like that detail would be something the cops would keep quiet.
