Cranford,NJ: [WCBS,CNN] Two New Jersey day care workers are accused of making children aged 4-6 fight each other and making videos one worker shared via the app Snapchat.
Investigators say the two former day care workers referenced the movie "Fight Club", as they encouraged preschoolers and kindergartners to fight at the Lightbridge Academy. Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28 were both charged with fourth degree child abuse and Kenny was also charged with fourth degree endangering the welfare of a child. One report says they quoted the book and movie extensively but if either one of these stooges had read and comprehended that book they would have known the whole point of it wasn't about fighting. It was about society and the way the Brad Pitt/Edward Norton charecter [Tyler Durden] evolves from an insomniac who can't get a grip on his crappy, sit-behind-a-desk life into an idea machine who builds an army of disenfranchised, provoked 30 year old boys who when pushed, push back. HARD.
For anyone to make someone engage in violence against their will is ignorant. For an adult to force a child to fight and blame it on a movie or book is barbaric. Throw these two in jail. They'll learn enough about fighting there.
After all......how much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?
Hm. Well.....not that that had anything to do with the story but for me, Marla was kind of the catalyst. Remember in the beginning of the movie where Norton/Pitt says, "This all had to do with a girl named Marla Singer..."? He goes through the film with Marla thinking they are the same person....that Norton IS Tyler...and he is,we just don't know it until Fight Club evolves into Project Mayhem and Bob aka Robert Paulson gets shot during Operation Latte Thunder.

Approximately a dozen boys and girls can be seen in the video, shoving each other to the ground, attempting to strike each other, according to the prosecutor. This piece says the pair of them have been fired and the director has resigned and from reading the CEO's statement, I bet they are having one gigantic attack. They interviewed a couple of parents, man, I would not want to be on the end of that professionally.
