Did Someone Die In Your House? This Search Engine Will Give You The 411

This is kinda interesting. I have this one friend, Pookie. Pookie freaks out about the spirits of dead people haunting houses and apartments and swears ghosts are lurking around waiting to jump out and mess with us on the daily. I give her hell about it because I don't believe in any of that noise and even if that is possible, I'd bet on myself over the undead any day.

At any rate, I ran across this from our friends at Crime Feed.com. It has a little profile on 6 houses up for sale that have shady pasts and were crime scenes, thereby making them 25% less attractive to a prospective buyer. I always thought a realtor had to disclose if there was some crazy time nonsense on the premises but I guess I was wrong, according to this. One of the houses is a place designed by the son of Frank Lloyd Wright where it is presumed Elisabeth Short [the Black Dahlia murder] was committed. Dude, I'd live in that house. It's dope as hell. I'd also have lived in 755 N. 15th Street in Boulder,CO or 10050 N. Cielo Drive, Hollywood CA. That house in Boulder was gorgeous and one of my favorite cd's ever [Nine Inch Nail's 'The Downward Spiral"] was recorded at 10050 N. Cielo. I don't believe in haunted houses, that's a bunch of crackpot nonsense.

But if you want to know, this search engine called DiedInHouse.com can tell you who has died in the house you are thinking about buying. You punch in the address and for a nominal fee they give you the skinny about your future home. Give it a look. Interesting stuff.
