Fair? No? Come tweet with us on the West coast @9pm as always, I'm @annarocket and we'll be watching. Show ABC some
I watched this twice and waited for it to make sense but it still doesn't. I asked someone close to me who was adamant the defendant nothing wrong, that Michelle Carter didn't murder Conrad Roy. She wasn't guilty of anything. But my thing is why did she say she knew if the cops read those texts she'd go to jail? Come on. You can't tell me she didn't know what she was doing. I believe she probably had some kind of mental illness, she'd been in treatment. Roy had as well. These were disturbed kids. It wasn't from one day life is okay and then BAM! It's tragic. It was an online relationship that went wrong.
Michelle Carter was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the suicide death of Conrad Henry Roy III, 18. She remains free while her case is on appeal, and holy crap did that make people mad. I was on a couple of news sites and the people hating was insane. If they could have, they would have strung her up on the spot. I've had haters but DAMN! Kinda scary. Like the Casey Anthony haters, is what it reminded me of.
Lynn Roy has filed a wrongful death suit against Michelle Carter after her guilty verdict in the death of her son, Conrad asking for a judgement of over $4 million.
Let's give you some links. Sorry I'm not on this like I should be....life has gotten the best out of me for the moment. I'll be glad when summer is over.
