Farenheit 9/11:The movie

Yesterday my family and I went to see the movie,"Farenheit 9/11" the documentary by Micheal Moore about the handling of the war in Iraq and the way the government has handled the propaganda generated by the media.

Have any of you seen it? I would really be interested in the opinions of anyone else who has seen it because it is really an important film about the way we as a nation and the way Bush as a president have dealt with the war and the attacks on the World Trade Center. I can't say I agree with some of the things he's saying in the film,it's hard to agree with him on some things. But I do think it is worth seeing and at least try to look at it from his point of view.

Hey,

I was furious over this movie and the fact that it was released, as it was, during an election year. I emailed my daughter the article about it and she told me that when she was a Freshman in high school, guess that would have been in 1995 or so, that she read a book by the exact name, only the names in the book were changed. The plot as the same, all of it was the same except the names. She could not believe this man had taken this book and made a political movie out of it. So... if that is the case the writer/producer/ director of the film are all fake. Now, I do not know if that is true, but she has no reason to lie to me and tell me she read something when she did not. ..... Just A THOUGHT.

I LOVED IT! Hubby & I were shocked at some of the things Bush has been involved in & yes, we realize most of this is Michael Moore's opinions, but you can't make up footage like that. He didn't FORCE Bush to stand by & read a stupid children's book when he was told about 9/11 bombing.

BTW, this won't change the way I'm going to vote. I never liked Bush & I'm not voting for him AGAIN this time around...

Moore really made Bush look like a fool with that stunt in the grade school. Nobody saw that coming and I have to say that shady  journalism or not,it said a lot about the Bush administration that he could just sit there while we were literally under terrorist attack. I read somewhere that the whole movie was about his personal vendetta against George Bush. The part that really got to me was when the woman was screaming to God,why her son had to die, that he was just a college student and hadn't done anything wrong. My daughters boyfriend just went into the marines and I looked over and she was bawling her head off. It made her think about the bigger picture so in my opinion it did its job, even though I'm not crazy about Moore. Did you see "Bowling For Columbine"?
