It has been difficult to retain an objective perspective when thinking of the sad case of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. But this week when he began to market his new book and television interview entitled,"If I did it" my head just about exploded and there is no more holding back.
Not only is it disgusting that he takes NO responsibility for this fiasco,claiming that the project was brought to him,he is seen in hidden camera interviews making jokes that he'd go on the Geraldo show for money. Money's money,right? And he laughs.
I can not believe this sickining scum of a human being then later,when the public was horrified at his behavior,had the unmitigated gall to release a PR statement that whined and whimpered that his NFL pention was less than his kids private school tuition.He went on to maintain that he was broke and he never had the idea to write the book and film the show.It was all someone else's idea. Gee OJ,that excuse worked for ya once before didn't it?
The final blow in all this stench is that in no way,at no time did he say he was not responsible for the murders of Nicole and Ron.I think that is what makes me the most angry.He just goes along his merry little way,driving down the golf course never once saying a kind word about the beautiful and warm mother of his children or the vivacious and popular son of the Goldman's.
I know that as journalists we are expected to be objective and many many times I have been when I did not want to be.Well this time I'm breaking the rules.Screw that.OJ is a murder.And we all know it
This morning MSN published excerpts from Newsweek who had obtained a chapter of "If I Did It" and it proceeded to detail how he did it.It said it was "crude" and full of profanity,and that Nicole had provoked him into killing her.
Excuse me? Unless she had a knife up to her own throat I fail to see how she could have provoked him into anything.
He then "hypothysizes" that he showed up when Ron Goldman was arriving and Nicole came up and attacked him "like a banshee" and "fell to the ground,cracking her head."
News flash:she died from multiple stab wounds,Einstien,not a skull fracture.She had her throat slit. Goldman prepares to fight him and then OJ claimes the next thing he knew he was drenched in blood with a bloody knife and that "something went horribly wrong,but I can't tell you how,"
Ok.Now I thought this was all hypothetical? That's a hell of a statement to make in a hypothetical scenario.

I just read that the Goldman family will receive any money that happens to come from this stupid book. A judge ruled that Simpson's rights to it have been handed over to them. I think I read it in people magizine. I read so darn many,,
