Hello, This is in regards to the HAFC - Household Bank complaints listed on the home page of http://www.justicejunction.com. None of their emails worked for (all rejected) me so I will post it here:
Hello, I have a Gold MasterCard through Household Credit Services, which I think is probably the same folks as HAFC financing.?? I was happily using them at a fair rate for many months. I eventually was one day late twice on the card and not only did they "default" my APR but they closed my account entirely. I called them and they would not budge on their decision. They based some of their action (apparently) on my credit report. The problem with this is that my credit report at the time had a false piece of info (which is now corrected) that slanted my credit rating as bad. I told them this and asked them if they have some sort of re-evaluation system. They said no. They said my APR will remain high and my account will remain closed until it is paid off. Isn't that like chopping off someones leg for speeding 5 miles over?
I suggest for anyone considering this organization to quickly run the other way!
