Was injured in sept 2004 at work 4 doctors later and a MRI that showed 2 disc problems and 2 doctors recomendation i go to a back and spine clinic liberty refuses. What do our employers pay these people for? I rebuild transmissions and thought i worked for a good company, ive been doing this for 20 years! Anyway im tired of 4 months-almost- of nothing being  done, so i hire a lawyer,the day before x-mas im given a bs letter saying im laid off my atty called on my behalf the day before this alleged temporary lay off trying to get back pay for missed work and they even docked me for time to go to a doctors appts. which on days i had to go i would work through lunch hour i rarerly missed more than an hour. After 20 years as a mechanic and having never been on unemployment i am trying to sell things but not much good luck yet, am not one to ever ask for help, but is there some temporary help out there until i get a unemployment check? thanks guitarman6!
