Watched Small Sacrifices yesterday. I had forgotten what a great job Farrah Fawcett did in that movie. Now I am going to have to go back thru my books to find the one that Diane wrote. That was a real "novel" if I have ever read one.

Diane lived about a mile from where I live in Arizona and the post office where she worked is about 3 blocks away. I always wonder how her two surviving children have gotten on with their lives. And just for the record I don't think she was as pretty as the book or the movie make her out to be.
I am glad that I am not the only one who watched this movie recently. After watching I had to wonder what happened to everyone recently. Well I got my answer I would like to share it with those who are curious as well.
Diane
Now 46 years old, Diane is serving her life sentence plus 65 years at the Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla, California.
Diane is up for parole in 2009.
She's never once admitted to the crime and continues to have no relationship with her children.
The Children
Christie and her brother Danny were adopted by the prosecutor for the case Fred Hugie and his wife, Joanne.
Christie has graduated from college in Oregon and is currently working with children.
Although Danny is still paralyzed, he is a champion swimmer on his college varsity team.
The only one I didn't see anything on was of course the baby that was born. And I very much agree that they made her out to be so pretty when actually she isn't. Sad that she is actually up for paroll. I think she should stay in there!
