me

For some reason the 'Introduce Yourself' thread won't open for me.

My name is Stephanie, I'm 36, live in Oregon and eat all of my vegetables (ha ha).  I've been searching for a message board, that is about and information on true crimes, where the people are friendly and knowledgable (there aren't many or at least I've had bad luck finding them)

I'm glad I found ya!

Stephanie

Welcome, everyone here seems to be very friendly. Are there any cases that interest you specifically? Or most TC in general? Again, welcome.

Thank you so much!

Yes, just TC in general.

I watched several specials over the weekend on Scott Peterson and that case is still intriguing to me.  I caught the repeat interviews w/Anne (Scott's sister) & Amber Frey being interviewed by Matt Lauer.  Very interesting!  Have you guys discussed it here?  I'll have to do a search :)

Plus I want to read up on the Butts case that's been mentioned here a few times - never heard of it at all..

welcome st3 i believe we have touched on the petersoncase but havent had a tread specifically on it . you are welcome to start a thread onit or anyother tc case that interest you. about the butts case discussed on ths boad. you mst likely wil not have a ppunity to read up on it wxcept for on this board to my knwlenge there has never been a book wrote on it even though its been a wish of mine to get thiscasein book form.i think dogfather is working on some things that willbringthis case to the public.other thanto st the citizens of the town inwhich this murder happened.i myself have contacted 2 true crime authors about writing a book on thi case one author is a very well known true crime writer the other author is not quit as well known as the firsr but both have several books published under their belts.and both turned it down because the case is not closed with a killer behind bars.thes authers feltthe publishers would not go for a book until case close.
