It says for years, she waived her right to a parole hearing... Now that sounds odd to me. Then, they say they will not say if she asked for one or not.

I don't want to bash the media really here.. However Anna watch if she don't make more money more than the rest of us, who have spend money to educate our self and have worked many long hours. She will be hit by every media, that is out there and make a killing [maybe a wrong word to use, Huh??]

You have to fill out a request for parole so she's full of crap. I'm going to be such a jerk about this. She didn't ask for this? Yeah. Right.

I hope the American public will see this woman for what she really is and not give her the spotlight as we have done for other sociopaths like OJ Simpson who have been found to be media darlings.

She was the most psycho one of them all!! I mean, I am all for a person changing...but I think if you have that much hate in your heart, it never goes away!! Might as well let Manson out himself! Hell, he didn't actually commit a murder!

That's actually a very good point Sara.
Just like Charles,she didn't kill anyone.
She did not participate in the murders at the home of Sharon Tate or the LaBianca murders,and that's what we think of when we think of Manson. He's notorious specifically for those acts.

However,she was a Manson family member and did take a loaded gun with the intent to kill Gerald Ford while he was in office.

In addition to that,she had a year and a half added to her sentance for escaping the prison. I think that should be taken into consideration in her bid for parole.

And a reader e-mailed me to tell me Manson himself is up for parole in 2010,not like he will ever get out. The American public would have such a spastic fit. evileye

Atkins....I'm amazed she's still alive. She's got brain cancer,she's had one leg amputated and I really thought they were going to let her out on a compassionate release when the prison medical staff said she had only 6 more months to live. But they didn't!

And now this. Van Houten is up this year,Manson is up next year and they let Fromme out. I believe that after 30 years most inmates are paroled unless the crime was especially henious.

I believe these crimes were especially henious. They changed the way we look at murder. evileye

And I've had hers on me for years.She saw mine while she was growing up [I have 4] and my little nose rings so she knew what was going on.It was no suprise she'd do it.That was her second one. evileye

She's out. CNN is reporting that a spoksman for the US Bureau of Prisons confirmed her release this morning.

I'd again like to urge you to read this and look at the links they have posted on the Manson family.They say they have all been rehabilitated and that is up to you to decide for yourself.

For me,rehabilitation is not the key element in the punishment factor for Charles Manson and his "family". The acts they committed not only shocked the world,they changed the way we profile and even the way murder is ingrained in our psyche.

I also believe that when a crime is so calculated and heinous, if the death penalty is not an option,as it is not in California,life in prison WITHOUT the possibility of parole is the only appropriate sentence.

My concern is that once they let one out,it sets the precedent to let them all out.

I know I was suprised they didn't let Susan Adkins out when the prison said she only had 6 months to live. I have to admit I was glad they didn't. evileye

She probably wouldn't have had any medical care on the outside. Really, it's in her best interests to stay in prison, where she can get some medical attention.

I'm all for letting these psychos out. Why should we taxpayers keep paying for their medical care, among other things? But, instead of just letting them out, I say we ship them off to someplace really awesome, like Iraq, or Afghanistan, and let them rot there.

Kasabian got moved off to tonight so they could broadcast a bunch of chopper footage and talking heads about Wacko Jaco's funeral.

Supposedly Kasabian is on for tonight,they showd a teaser for it,which annoyed me that their website was saying it was on and what was really some hush hush funeral that had almost zero press.

So,I watched LKL last night and Linda Kasabian was sitting there with a big old smile on her batsh*t crazy face,in a wig and sunglasses.I'd hide my ass too if I was her. She talked about her participation in the crimes and made sure to point out she never killed anyone.

Sitting next to her was the prosecutor of the case,Vincent Bugliosi.He kept saying how instrumental her testimony had been and how she really wasn't like all Charlie's other hookers.The whole thing was just really like a big commercial.....for the docu-drama The History Channel will be airing in September about the Manson Family and their crimes.

The thing that really got me about Linda was that after the Tate killings,she left her 18 month baby girl with Manson family members to go back to New Mexico and see her husband.While she was gone,of course,they were all arrested and the child went into foster care. She did not elaborate on if she got her back but did say she had 4 other children.WTF?!

The last part of the show featured Debra Tate,Sharon's sister. They showed Susan Atkins at a former parole hearing,and at the one that has just passed.She is nothing but a weak and very shallow vessel for whatever reason God has not seen fit to carry over.It was absolutely pathetic.It did not,however,change my mind about the nature of her sentence.I do not feel she should be paroled. Not any of them,not ever. I know I have run on about this but if it is going to be made into *another* movie,we haven't come to the end of it all. evileye

Speaking of movies lol, I watched an incredibly f'ed up movie last night. Hubby worked all night long, so for some dumbass reason, I figured it would be a great idea to watch a scary movie by myself. Good thing for red wine lol or I never would have gotten any sleep!

Anyway, the movie was The Strangers. And part of the inspiration for the movie came from the Manson Family killings. I get goosebumps just talking about this movie lol.

I'm over at my Mom's [with a killer migraine,I'd like to add] and after we eat,I'm doing the typical annarocket channel surf when what do I find but the MANSON docu-drama on the stupid History Channel!!!

EPIC fail on the advertising here,guys. Did anyone see this coming? I've seen the trailer for the new Megan Fox movie so many times I can probably recite the damn thing in my sleep. But nothing on this.

So if anyone else saw this come on board and talk to me tomorrow. But late. My man and I are going to Denny's for breakfast!! evileye

So....I think I'm the only one that watched this,because I didn't get the usual load of love/hate email.

And honestly,you guys didn't miss anything.The whole thing really was about Linda Kasabian.It focused pretty much on her point of view,her stating her claim that she was pretty much a "victim" of Manson's brainwashing.

It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.It didn't tell anyone anything we didn't already know! What was the point of this crap? It wasn't to entertain,because it was far from entertaining and as for educational or informative.....nope.Not happening. evileye
