And just when I think people can't get any crazier.........

Some grumpy old fart in a store got annoyed with a mother who's 2 yr old was fussy.  Apparently the mother couldn't get her 2 yr old to stop crying.  So this old man comes up to the mother, and tells her if she can't shut her kid up, he'll do it for her.  And guess what??  HE DOES!!  This BASTARD struck this child SEVERAL TIMES, right there in the middle of the store!  If that had been my child, that old man would be in the hospital by the time I got done with him.   What the hell is wrong with people these days?  And no, this man didn't know the woman or her child.    Here's a link to the story:

He later apologized for what he did lol. Like an I'm sorry is going to make up for slapping a 2 yr old hard across the face several times. He's out of his mind, and should be locked up for a good long while. I mean what's going to happen next time he's in a store and gets irritated with someone?

If I smacked anyone in a store because I was irritated with them,I'd get busted for assault.

I'm with ya,Navywife. Jail. Let him sit there and think about it for awhile. Especially since it was a child,FFS!!!  evileye

You can talk to the owner an have him talk to that person and the mother of the child can legally make a citizens arrest and charge him with assault and battery!
In order to do this you would need at least one other witness.

Well, had that been my child, once he said I'll shut her up for you, that would have been it for me. He wouldn't have had a chance to lay a hand on my child. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming the mother for any of this. But my temper is quick lol.

People need to be taught to find the right way to handle different situations like this one.
He should have been thinking of the consequences of his actions in order that it doesn't happen to anyone else!
Some people don't think or have the ability to understand that what they are doing is probably not the right course of action!
