Pat and Ron discuss the ABC News team that were in Arkansas last week. They were doing interviews and taping for a documentary report to be broadcast at a later date.
Terri Whitcraft, the Emmy Award Winner Producer, from the ABC News Law and Justice Unit, was also in Arkansas last May. This unit has a team of attorney's that look into high profile cases, to present the truth of what really happened.
They arrived in Arkansas Wednesday November 16th, and left the area Monday the 21st.
In speaking of various witnesses, Whitcraft noted they would honor their confidentially, if requested to do so. Not everyone will be seen on camera, if that is their choice.

Though I recently moved to New York City, I am from Marshall, AR. My mother's family has lived there for years, and she went to school with Janie Ward (they were about the same age). I noticed an older thread about the case, and I just wanted to bring everyone up to date. As the last post noted, the body was exhumed, and what was found was pretty shocking. The autopsy report that the family was given years ago was supposedly that of a middle-age man, rather than a young woman. In other words, someone was paid some serious cash to make a "switch" and cover up someone's guilt. Most still thin that the guilty party is Judge Patterson's daughter, but will we ever know? Most likely not, but the idea that Janie "fell" is simply ridiculous. The injuries she suffered were horrific, and a fall of that caliber would not bring that on. They do know that Janie was driven through a car wash in the back of a truck, which should set off bells. Why would you go through that trouble if you weren't trying to "wash" away evidence? There are just too many holes in this story. For the sake of Janie's parents, I hope they achieve closure soon.
