They killed the famous, to become famous in their sick minds...

It's very, very rare that an offender who commits one of the most violent crimes that can be commited can completely turn themselves around and wind up not being a threat to the public. How many times have we seen news stories where abductions, rapes, and murders are commited by people who have a history of violence, served time for a prior crime, got out, and did it again? I say keep him locked up.

Excellent point 420. He didn't kill some random stranger. He killed John Lennon,one of the most revered songwriters of our generation. Not to mention he's going to be hunted down like a dog if he DID get parole.

I heard this while I was out sick,Mark David Chapman was denied parole for another 6 years.

Okay,I'd like to stop being irritated about this but when people email me pdf. of Chapman's parole hearing [redacted] it brings it back that he murderded JOHN LENNON and fully admits he was looking to kill someone famous.....I have a hard time letting go.

It's hard to have mercy when you read that Chapman and his wife Gloria lived in Hawaii and he used the sale of art to finance to NY to kill Lennon.

The art was a wedding gift from his father-in-law. Jeez. evileye
