From MSNBC: Not many things lately make me go hmmmm! Didn't see that coming! Well I got one today and I was just so I was really taken aback. In 1977,the song "You Light Up My Life" sung by Debby Boone [not my style but I digress] was a number one hit on the Billboard chart, winning an Oscar for the writer Joseph Brooks.
Police say they found Brooks dead of an apparent suicide.A towel,a bag and heliem were found at the scene along with a short note. Brooks was awaiting trial on 11 rapes and 13 other sex crimes. In an unrelated case,Brooks' son,Nicholas has been charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend swimsuit model,Silvie Cachay. He has pled not guilty.
I'm now going to listen to some Slayer,a little Metallica, and throw in some Marilyn Manson to top it off. Wow.I better stick to my own kind!
What does that mean,anna-rocket? Anyway, you're making this up.

Hi Jim,LOL.I could tell you what annarocket means but that's classified. And I'm not making this up! Click on the link! You won't get a virus! Now go listen to some Slayer [I recomend Seasons In The Abyss] and come back when you have something interesting to tell me.
Sorry to burst your bubble Jim, she's not making it up. I have seen several news reports on this story. And no, I'm not one to believe everything the media tells us, but unfortunately in this case, it's true.
Thank you!!!!! That story was weird.I can think of a lot of suicides that have occured while the accused was waiting trial and were [well, what seemed to be anyway] a lot less complicated than what this man did. Can't help wondering if the son is guilty.
