One of the main missions behind Justice Junction is to help bring justice to those who have been denied it. One of those specific missions has been to win the freedom of the group of men known as the West Memphis Three.
Today a surprise hearing is being held in the case of the West Memphis Three, and the expected outcome is the freedom of the men who many believe were wonrgly convicted.
Yeah. That's right.I preached it then and I'm preaching it now.If you ever EVER believe in something fight for it. Stand your up and scream for their innocence.I'd do it for you.I'd do it for the wrongly convicted anywhere. That's what this website is about:JUSTICE FOR ALL.
I want to congratulate Damian,Jason and Jessie,Lorrie Davis, and Lisa Fancher who I had the pleasure of working with on our tshirt project.
It is and it isn't. I hate that they had to make a plea deal. Many people won't understand, and will assume that they pled guilty because they are guilty, when they aren't guilty (if that makes any sense.) I am glad they're free though. I just hope they're able to put their lives back together.
I'm not a million per cent thrilled with the terms either. But when you think about Jason taking an Alford plea for Damian and the fact that the justice system even got to the point of them being free men is something pretty amazing.
Some people think the worst is over but honestly, the war wages on.Their names are not clear. This is not an exoneration. But they have a part of their lives back. They are not incarcerated, and that in itself is beautiful. They will be able to experiance many of the things we all take for granted, like going to In N Out Burger, which is what I did tonight,LMAO.
I raise my root beer to the amazing legal team who worked to tirelessly and the makers of the Paradise Lost documentaries,Berlinger and Sinofsky. The families of the dead children are in my prayers tonight. For them, there still is loss and pain. This is not a victory. For them, their children are still not coming home.
Someone is guilty.I don't know how much of this is common knowledge but at the time of the murders, there was a sighting of a man at a fast food place, muddy, bloody black man who tried to clean himself up in the bathroom. The cops knew but by the time they got there, nothing was done except a cursory drive thru and minimal questioning of an employee.
There is also a truck stop called the Blue Beacon not far from the interstate where this crime occured and would provide easy access if someone had half a mind to just jump on it and hit it.
Someone is out there. And we don't know who or where.
