And The Winner Of The Stupid Parenting Award Is.......

The mother in the news story below.  Ok, Ok, I get she was in a bit of a situation, her car ran out of gas, and she had two small children with her.  But WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS SHE THINKING??  She went to get help, taking her daughter with her, and LEAVING HER TODDLER SON ALONE IN AN UNLOCKED CAR.  So are any of us shocked when she and her daughter returned an hour later to the car they found that her son had vanished?  The story she is sticking too right now is what I mentioned above... car ran out of gas, she took one kid to go get help, and left her other kid in the car and when they got back to the car he was gone.   Not sure I actually believe her story, but, it wouldn't surprise me if it were true.   I hope this adorable little boy is found safe and sound, and SOON.

Well my gut instinct was right. I had a hard time believing anyone could be that stupid, and apparently, she wasn't that stupid. This mother's story is falling apart little by little, and she's refused to take a polygraph test. Latest details below:

Not a huge suprise.....

And that part of Washington isn't exactly swank.I lived in Washington when I was married to my daughter's father and I got to know the place fairly well.Not the place you want to break down and for sure not leave a child unattended. [Not that there is ANYWHERE to leave a child unattended]

I have a terrible feeling about this and I am praying my over active imagination is just getting the better of me......evileye

Sounds like someone was taking cues from Casey Anthony...

I hope they find him alive and well, but my bet is she becomes the next unearned sensation... What is in the water ? And why do people like this have children ????

So ridiculous... She wandered around a wealthy neighborhood and never purchased gas... why is she not being detained ? I wonder if they will ask to speak to the little girl, seeing as the mother is refusing the poly test...
