It never fails to amaze me how cases like this go dead for years and years and then suddenly poof! Someone ups and opens their pie hole and the truth [or maybe not the truth] comes out.
I often wonder if in some of these cases are whakos like that guy John Mark Karr who claimed he was involved with Jon Benet Ramsey.
Does anyone know what or who made them reopen it ? I have been lacking on keeping right on top of everything lately... been kind of wrapped up in our stuff here with Michelle Parker missing...
As far as I knew the injury Natalie had wasn't the cause of death, and wasn't brutal in the nature of being inflicted to her by anything other than a fall ?
Her sister has always wanted the case reopened. Then one of the people on board the boat that night changed his story as to what happened, and now a witness has come forward who claims she heard Natalie calling for help after she was in the water.
In the latest twist, the official cause of death on Natalie Wood's death certificate has been changed from "accidental" to "undetermined." The investigation into her death, which has seen new life breathed into it, has found evidence that is inconsistent with the story given to police, inlcluding discovering injuries on Natalie's body that isn't consistant with the injuries of drowning victims.
They have released the new coronoer's report... and boy it is going to shock people... especially Hollywood. Wile it stops short of declaring her death a homicide, it does say that she died shortly after she entered the water, and that her injuries are more consistant with a beating than a drowning. The two actors who were with her on the boat that night are not currently under investigation.. Robert Wagner still steadfastly is sticking to his story (that's now getting poked full of holes), and Christopher Walken is refusing, still, to discuss the case at all.
