Our truck was stolen from our driveway this morning between 1am and 7am. It's a 2006 Ford F350 crew cab long bed diesel. They had to have rolled it down the street and started it somewhere else or Joey and I would have jumped up bc we know our truck and it's a distinct start up sound.
I'm so ticked off. Who does this ????? Joey and I don't have kids, but our truck and 4wheeler are like kids to us...
Well still no sightings of the truck. I'm devastated... Joey has started the painful search for a replacement.
We did hear from a bunch of neighbors though that Robbie Triplett is our neighborhood criminal who gets cracked out and when he finds out he has warrants he goes on a crime spree bc he figures who cares he's already wanted. The speculation is that he stole the truck, but no concrete evidence.
This morning our friend with the Orange County Sheriff's office called and said they picked up Triplett, but no word on the truck. I'm just praying he dumped it in a parking lot somewhere and no one else stole it from there. The not knowing who, what, why, or where is killing me. :(
Our next door neighbor said at around 10pm Sunday night she heard 5 loud metal on metal bangs and when she went to the window she saw a big white guy standing with his hands on the door of the truck. The driver side door was facing her window. She said she went back to watching TV bc she thought it was Joey working on his truck. We were inside asleep at 10pm. Robbie Triplett is the same build and height as Joey. I am more than positive it was that piece of shxt...
Letting my sheriff friend know this ASAP. Probably won't get the truck back, but at least that POS Triplett might go away for more than a year!!!
I forgot to mention the fact that I think Robbie did his damage and when he saw the neighbor looking he walked away and came back to finish after 1am...
I'm trying to. I rode around on the scooter all day yesterday handing out flyers with the case number and the $1,000 reward for info... I accept that we may not get the truck back, but for the love of God I will get Robbie put away for years... I don't want him getting out in a mere 5 years... I want this felony to put his axs away for way longer. They said that one more felony on top of all the others he has and we're talking 25 - 30 years...
I had some tips come in from his niece's husband... I had stopped to give him a flyer and he said he had security cameras and would check them out. When I mentioned Robbie as a suspect his exact words were " oh yeah that's my wife's uncle and we all know what a piece of shxt he is, the whole family knows "... he also said that Robbie runs with a group of degenerates that live in Apopka, so that's where I went yesterday to get word out and I found out that some of the locals have seen a large white Ford that is not typically out there as a regular... I'm doing all I can... just wish it was more... and with quicker result, but isn't that the American way now ?

Thank you!!! Nothing new so far... we're just finishing up the insurance packet tonight and we'll know more about the replacement check within a week... bah... just sucks they haven't found it, or any trace of it :(
