as manyof you know i am aavid true crime reader and i must admitt my tv usually finds itself to be on the courttv channel or the aand e chanel caught the coverage of this young mans senseless death last night.andthought of anna girl this story nedsdst go onto youre homesite.the thing aboutthis story that hit home to me is this young man was so much like my youngest son its unreal.i cant help butthink but for the grace of god there goes i.anyone interested in more info aboutthis case please do a goole using the victims name.this was nothing more than a pure hate crime in its truest form.and i know anna can do this story justice.
ell i will just post s summery of this case. since it realy just grabbed my heart. this story comes out of admorrilll texas. in this town it said highschool football and the cattle business rules. but not all kids fit into the football clique nor the cowboy clique. some kids seem to fit into the outsider clique. hence briane. this kid liked to express his indventual self supportrd by his family and friends. how did briane express himself. he was punk . a kid that wore a green mohawk hair cut. wore leather and chains. loved to skateboard.was often picked on and attacked by the jocksin school to the point he aquired the nickname of fist magnet. yet bryine stood up for his beliefs that hating others just because of how they looked was wrong everyone had the righ tto be an indivental treated on that merit onlybrinealsohad the nickname of sunshinedue to his laidback sunny nature always finding the good in the bad. untilthe night outside a local resurant. several of bryanes friends were being attacked by a group of football jocks. what was started as words thrown at each other turned into a all out brawl in the street with fist chains bats being swung on both sides. at one point bryane hadd been beated to the ground which just happened to be in the street. as he was gettingup a car driven by a jock speed up andran over bryan then was thround in reverse and back over him.briane died in his brothers arms his last words were to this brother was i love you.this was nothingbut a hate crime. so senseless. just because a kid belived it was wrong to hate others just based on how they looked or dressed.the killer recieved only 10 months probation and a ten thousand dolor fine.:
Good grief, A.G., this is awful. I will never understand how sentencing is handed out. Have a bag of weed in your car and get 10 yrs., murder someone and get a few and probation. Seems like the justice system is all screwed up. Maybe we should shut it down for a few and start all over !
i agree granny. iguess no matter wher one goes it really all comes down to who and how much money the victoim was/had. now this perticular case was in tx. which i think has a big concern with high school sports now if this killer would have gotton any prison time then the football team would have lost one of its most valiable playersjust remember if your ever in tx pray your not murdered there because tx thinks more of its sports players than it does of its murder victims.just makes me sick that the killers parents coaches and many town leaders all were pulling for this killer to get away with murder so the football team could have a steller year
