It was a warm summer evening on June 12, 1998 in Seaside, CA. 13 year old Christina Marie Williams decided to take her dog, Greg, for a walk, as she did frequently. She and Greg left her house at 7:30pm... Greg returned alone, leash trailing behind him, at 8:20pm. Christina never did. Exactly 7 months later, on January 12, 1999, Christina's remains were found on the former Fort Ord Army Base, about 3 miles from her home. Some leads were delvoped, but, so far, her case remains unsolved.
Whoever killed Christina was on the hunt that night, and has probably killed before and since.... earlier that evening, police had received reports of two men in a car trying to force and adult female woman who was jogging, into their car. She got away... Christina didn't. The incident involving the woman jogger happened in the same vinicity that Christina disappeared from.
Her killers remain at large, and are probaly still on the hunt.... let's find these fill in the blanks!
What a heartbreaking story. I mean,I have a daughter myself and if something like this happened to me,man, well, that would just push me over the edge.
It is a cold case but the FBI is involved and you never know what could happen. I have to give a lot of credit to the parents of this poor girl. They seem to have carried this burden with such a strength and dignity that I have to give them the credit for reaching out to help others in the midst of their grief.
