At the last possible moment, the ahole contained in the story below decided to appeal... on the date he was supposed to be executed. His crime is especially horrific and brutal in nature. Because he finally decided to appeal, it could delay his execution for years. Maybe he'll do society a favor and off himself....
You know,our justice system has the option to appeal if you have been convicted of a crime.I think it's honestly the best judicial system in the free world.
Having said that,I don't think it's right this guy could just change his mind at the last minute.That is just wrong.I understand his right to an appeal.But it seems like such a chain jerk reaction thing for them to be all geared up and ready to go and him to yell,"PSYCH!!" and get an appeal.I mean,I'm sure that's not how it happened,but you get my point.
Shame for the victim's family.I'm sure they were expecting closure and now the whole thing is back to square one.That just blows,and I honestly believe if he was gonna appeal he shouldn't have waited until they were gonna flip the switch to make his intentions known.
