Police have CONFIRMED this was a murder suicide. Josh Powell, Susan's husband and prime suspect in her disappearence intentionally killed himself and his two children by rigging his house to explode. Josh had recently lost custody of his children to Susan's parents as a result of his father being arrested on child porn charges. Josh Powell was told by a judge just days earlier that he would have to undergo a pyschosexual eval and that he wouldn't regain custody of his kids anytime soon.

The social workder dropped the boys off at Josh Powell's house for a planned visit. Josh forcibly pushed the social worker out of the home, and shortly after the explosion occured. 3 bodies were recovered from the home. The social worker called her supervisor shortly before the explosion to report that she smelled gas in the home, and she had been forcibly removed from the home.

Horribly sad. I feel so sorry for Susan's family, her parents especially. They lost their daughter, now they lost their grandkids, and now it's highly unlikely they will ever find out what happened to their daughter.

There is now yet another theory that's been made public about what happened to Susan Powell. It's beenmade public that Josh Powell had a very inferior view of women... he believed the very old fashoined way, that it was a woman's place to cook, clean, raise the children, etc. He did not cosndier any of these to be his duties. Susan's family recently acknolwedged that the night before Susan disappeared, Josh Powell had out of the blue decided to cook dinner for the entire family... something he never, ever did, as he considered it beneath a man to do that. So it was totally out of character for him. According to her family, Susan had told them that he had made her a "special" plate.. though Susan never elaborated on what she meant. The theory is that Josh Powell poisoned his wife's dinner that night, and killed her. Don't know how much water if any this theory holds, but as Josh Powell proved to us, he was capable of anything.

Autopsy report reveals exactly how these precious boys died. Details are gruesome, and reveals how truly disturbed their father was. He was truly a monster. So sad that his victims were his own sons (and most likely, their mother as well, but her fate remains undetermined.)

I know some sickos out there will be curious... but frankly, especially when it comes to murder victims, especially when those victims are children, I don't think the public knowing their exact cause of death is going to accomplish anything.
