It's unfortunate that the killer only did 10 years for taking another persons life.But that IS a felony,right? That's gonna come up in like job serches and such,yes? Is that right?

It depends on what it is.If he's applying for a job picking cotton I doubt they'll care.But even for the most basic and entry level jobs have drug tests,background checks and occasionally polygraphs depending on what you are applying for. Thanks for writing.
