Be The 13th Juror! Tell us.....

I saw this poll on Cnn.com and I wondered if I would get any response to this question. It made me think.

The question was this.....Is life in prison without parole ever an appropriate sentance for juvenile offenders?

Let's hear your reasons too.

Me,I have to say we need to evaluate this on a case by case basis. In the case of possible multiple murder when the offender is 17 or 18,then,yes,most certainly should be charged and tried as an adult. But what of children such as Alex King and his brother? We have to look into the accused's actions, surroundings, school, church [if applicable] his home life [or lackthereof] to determine if he would be a repeat offender if released when he turned 18.

What's up my peeps? Talk.         evileye

I agree with what you said. case by case basis. Some juveniles deserve another chance. Some deserve to be hung on the courthouse lawn immediately.
