I am the webmaster and creator of www.freefrankgable.com

Frank Gable was wrongfully convicted of the murder of Oregon Corrections Chief Michael Francke 15 years ago, and is serving life without the possibility of parole in a Florida prison.

What stands out the most about this case is the fact that the victims family, most specifically the victim's brother Kevin Francke, has believed in Gable's innocence from the beginning.

Without going into much detail about the case here, I invite you to check out my website, and see for yourself the terrible injustice that is occurring.

Frank Gable became the "fall guy" for a crime that was committed to prevent Michael Francke from exposing widespread corruption within the corrections department, and quite possibly from revealing former Oregon Governor Neil Goldschmidt's repeated rape of a 14 year old girl while he served as Mayor of Portland, Oregon. Goldschmidt admitted the crime last year, but is safe from prosecution due to the statute of limitations.

No physical evidence was ever presented at trial linking Gable to this crime. In fact, the state's preposterous theory of a bungled car break-in by Gable leading to the murder has so many holes in it it's off the hook! The state presented nothing but drug dealers and users to testify against Gable, most notably a drug dealer named Shorty Harden who ended up testifying he was parked in his car at the Dome Building in Salem, Oregon, and saw Gable stab Francke.

Last June I personally located Shorty Harden. After hearing the truth from him I convinced him to go public with it. Truth being that he really never was at the crime scene, and never saw anyone kill Francke, and the reason he testified differently was due to Oregon State Police coersion tactics.

Check out my site, and if you know anything, please contact me. If not, enlighten yourself further to yet another example of how we are being terrorized by a corrupt justice system. These are the real terrorists threatening our freedom. Recognize!

If anyone is interested I've recently put some very good video on my site that will help to give you a better understanding of this case. Included are some pieces of an interview with Frank Gable, local newsclips, and the "Unsolved Mysteries" piece which originally aired two weeks prior to Gable's trial.

You can view the videos by clicking here

Thanks for taking the time to check out my site Atlanta Girl, and for your compliments. I knew nothing about building a website when I took on the project. The site is a first-time effort.

What's important to note in this case are the numerous accusations made relating to corruption within Oregon's prison system. The victim, Oregon Corrections Chief Michael Francke, had mentioned to his brother just before his death that he had uncovered an organized criminal element within the prison system, and "heads were gonna role". He was murdered two days before he was scheduled to testify before a senate sub-committee.

There were no leads on the case from the beginning other than a "man in a pinstriped suit" who was seen loitering in the dome building 30-60 minutes after the doors were locked, and just prior to two employees who found Francke's car with the door open. Mysteriously, the Marion County DA's office didn't release this information to the public until the media caught wind of it. The witnesses who saw the man had never seen him before. What was he doing there, and why has he never come forward? The answer is quite obvious to me...he was there to assist in the "hit". Otherwise, it stands to reason he would've come forward to explain his reason for being there.

If it was a bungled car burglary, why was no evidence ever found to substantiate that theory? The car had a "state of the art" alarm system installed, and there was nothing to indicate anyone had been in the car. The first drops of blood were found 100 feet from the car. There was a witness who saw two men talking near the car just before the other employees found the door open. That witness said he heard an "oomph" sound, and he saw one guy turn and walk toward the dome building, and the other take off running in the opposite direction. I don't even believe that was Francke and his killer, otherwise it would stand to reason his body would've been found when a "meticulous" search of the building and grounds was conducted upon learning of Francke's car being left abandoned. These events all occurred around 7pm, and his body wasn't found until 12:37am.

Frank Gable didn't even come into the picture until months later. By that time there was alot of pressure on officials for finding Francke's killer/s, not to mention the increased risk of the feds getting involved with their own investigations, and the fact alot of measures were being taken from as high as the Governor's office to keep the feds out of the case.

Why did the Governor want to keep the feds out? The answer to that came about 18 months ago when former Oregon Governor Neil Goldschmidt admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing his 14 year old babysitter while he was Mayor of Portland, Oregon in the seventies. Goldschmidt went to the Oregonian (Oregon's largest newspaper) to publicly reveal his dark secret of almost 30 years, and they ran a headline of "Goldschmidt admits to having affair with 14 year old while Mayor of Portland". Having an "affair"? Yeah, the New York owned Oregonian labeled the repeated rape of a 14 year old girl for almost a year, an "affair"! Seems there were quite a few people in high positions throughout the state that knew of the secret, but never said anything.

Are you starting to get the picture here?

The reason Goldschmidt admitted this crime was due to Nigel Jaquiss's article in the Willamette Week, a free weekly Portland publication. Nigel, with a push from former Oregonian columnist Phil Stanford, who was fired by the Oregonian due to his "obsession" with the Francke case, finally gathered enough information to publish the story, and was rewarded for his efforts this year by winning the Pulitzer Prize for his work on this story. Click here to read Nigel's article, and click here to read about who knew and didn't tell.

Deals and threats were made in exchange for testimony by drug dealers and users against Frank Gable. The same usually holds true in most other wrongful conviction cases, so it's not like they tried anything new.

I admit, there is alot of information on my website to absorb, and alot of us (thankfully) are doing what we can to enlighten others to a particular injustice we are aware of.

What I've come to discover is we can enlighten others to injustice until we're blue in the face, but until enough of us take a stand, and do what needs to be done to change laws that allow pedophiles to get away with their crimes due to a statute of limitations, laws that make it nearly impossible to correct wrongdoings or mistakes made in obtaining convictions of the innocent, and laws that now allow our government to come into our homes and arrest any one of us without due process, (patriot act) then the corruption and abuse of power will only get worse, everywhere!

We the people must take a stand. We must exercise the rights afforded us by our Constitution. It's not just the lawyers and judges who get to interpret the Constitution. It's not just the executive branch. It's our document. Article 1, Section 1 says, "All power is inherent in the people. . . . They have at all times a right to alter, reform or abolish the government in such a manner as they may think proper.

Well, I'm starting to ramble now. Hope I opened some eyes is all I guess.

God Bless...Rob
