On May 11, 2011, in Aurora, IL Timothy Pitzen , 6, was checked out of school by his mother, Amy Pitzen.   Though his parents were married, Timothy's mother had a history of mental illness.  The day she checked Tim out of school early,  she had apparently not taken her medication to control her mental health for over a week.  While she told her work andy the school there was a "family emergency" which is why she was checking Tim out of school early, in reality there was no family emergency.  Timothy's father reported them both missing when he discovered Tim had been checked out early from school and he couldn't reach his wife. She took Timothy on a bizarre roadtrip back and forth across IL and WI, stopping at two water parks/resorts.   On May 15, 2011, Timothy's mother's body was found.  She had committed suicide,  but Tim was nowhere to be found.  In the suicide note she left, she indicated she had left Timothy in good hands with people who would care for him.   Evidence found in Amy's car and in the hotel room where her body was found indicates that Timothy is still alive, and there have been possible sightings of Timothy in the Northeast.   Please help bring this little boy back home to his loving father who is in a desperate search to find his son.   It is possible that Tim is being hidden by radical mormons, as Amy had joined a new church shortly before her death that was a breakaway group from the regular mormon church.
